After ringing in advance for a party of 8 we were told “we don’t reserve tables at a weekend but there’s a party of 10 in, if you come in about an hour they should be going so you’ll be fine”
So we rock up an hour later and the table of 10 are leaving. We even said to the waitress wow perfect timing!
She then looked at us funny and ignored us.
We stood there for another 5 minutes and then asked her for a table of 8 please. We said we rang earlier.
By this point - available there were a table of 6 free, a table for 8 free, a table for 2 free and a booth for 4 free.
She then told us there were people waiting for a table (4 people sat down) she then split the table of 8 and turned it into 2 tables of 4 and sat them There. Then she said sorry there’s no tables for 8.
I asked why she couldn’t sit the 4 people at booth for 4. She looked blankly then said that’s reserved for a table of 3.
To which we then said we rang earlier and you said you don’t reserve tables and to come in for when the table of 10 was leaving? She said they don’t reserve tables but they have reserved tables for someone who walked in and then disappeared and were no longer there. So I don’t understand what difference it was to us ringing as we were on route or someone walking in and walking out.
There was ample space for us, the 4 could of sat in the booth by the time we’d sat down and eaten someone else could left by the time the 3 turn back up or sit them at the table of 6?
We have been to Nando’s Wrexham a few times hence wanting to bring our family but don’t disappoint if you’re in a large group. They don’t want your money.
We spent £300 at the sleepy panda instead and it...
Read moreThis visit was an utter disaster. Waited at the desk nobody came to seat us. I went to the toilet upon coming back my wife was seated but no menus. I went to the desk where a female was putting menus back in place, as I went to pick up 2 menus for us the person took them out of my hand and stated that it was her job and we should have waited to be seated. This person was one of 2 that were chatting by the drink dispenser's when we arrived 10 minutes earlier. she followed me back to the booth and proceeded to lecture me on the way I was supposed to wait at the desk, this despite me saying several times that I knew that as we use Nando's quite often as there are 3 fairly local that we use never having problems. After she left both myself and my wife decided that to be spoken to the way we were as we were naughty children, we would leave. I hasten to add that I have a Nando card and am a mere78 years of age, it also cost me £1 parking to be insulted. I suggest that you instruct your staff in the age old fashion of the customer is right as they pay your wages, that is unless they are downright rude but that is a...
Read moreWe haven't booked a table and when we've arrived we've realised that the place is full. We have been approached by a very friendly member of staff (male with blond hair-sorry didnt catch the name) that have sorted a table for us in no time and with no trouble. We have used a barcode on the table to order. Our drinks and starters arrived almost immediately. Food was delicious and I loved the new vusa chicken and sauce. Service was fast and all staff was excellent. As I've payed using the app and had no cash with me I felt really bad for not leaving a well deserved tip therefore the least I can do is to acknowledge the great service provided. The only suggestion I would like to make is to add the tip option on the app. Thank you for providing such a great service and turning a simple meal out into a...
