The Diner — Restaurant in Wales

If I could give this place a ‘0’ rating I would. Food was awful, not edible for human consumption- group of 7 & not one of us could eat it. Chips & roast potatoes hard, burnt to a crisp; gammon & bacon over cooked, hard to cut plus very salty, veg hard cold under cooked; frozen microwave mashed potato; all food was not cooked fresh, all heated back up again even the fried eggs - the cooking oil used was old burnt oil, so all food had a horrible taste for which left a horrible taste in the mouth for a few hours after we had left. Food hygiene levels none existent, if anyone in there had a food certificate I’d be very surprised. We sat by the kitchen door & could see everything that was going on - a disgusting old dirty mop, 2 black bags of over flowing food waste right next to the preparation counter for take away orders, using there hands with no gloves except for one person to place food into the containers which had sat there for 10 minutes uncovered/ so take away orders going out would of been very cold - no hair nets and two ladies didn’t even have an apron on, the floor had food waste on, staff stepping over instead of cleaning it up as it wasn’t even busy. Total waste of money & it’s not cheap in there either, so as you can probably guess we will not be using this place again - first...

Won't be ordering from there again! Placed an order via Wrexham eats at 1:25pm, just before 2:44pm as food hadn't arrived to be told it was ready driver was on there way back to collect it. Called again at 3:15 still no food driver was on the way food had only just been cooked before the driver arrived - which was a lie as at 2:44 I was told it was waiting to be collected. Food arrived cold, soggy bread on the sandwich, fried bread was soggy, toast was soggy, eggs were over cooked it had been sweating in the foil that long everything was wet and soggy! Also missing the drink...

Shocking food! I ordered the lamb roast, instead I got processed beef, smash, and burnt yorkshire pudding with veg. My son ordered the pork butty and fries. The meat was rubbery and chewy and the chips were burnt. My daughter ordered a 2 scoop vanilla ice cream with sprinkles and strawberry sauce. Instead, she was given a plain vanilla ice cream cone. We ordered two deluxe milkshakes. One contained stale, crunchy marshmallows and the other tasted of candle wax. So now we've just thrown £30 down the drain on non-edible food and come home on empty stomachs. This place needs...
