The Parc Deli — Restaurant in Wales

Really really poor experience. Came in being told it's only outside seating which is understandable, but this will tie into the ice debacle later. On ordering we were told no coffees were available because the machine had broke in the heat (which again will play a role in the ice debacle and reflects how hot it was during our visit). This was disappointing but again understandable. Next, my spouse ordered an item off the menu which they had actually discontinued but had not reflected this in the menu. Ok, fine. Next, we sat outside after our order in one of the the only two allocated spaces (in the sun). It was getting quite hot and I had an orange juice which was mildly cold so asked for some ice. After the server looked at our drinks, he said sorry we don't have alot of ice so we can't, despite only having two seating tables and only us being at the establishment for the morning. If you don't have a coffee machine working because of the heat you would expect them to serve the alternative, especially to a paying customer. I say this because we saw the same waiter use ice for his personal drink. Plus there are numerous shops within a stone's throw. A family couldn't even sit outside as we we were leaving because the tables are only for 2 people. Lastly, breakfast was terrible for £6.50. I went to Parc Deli after hearing good things about it. Turned out, It was one of the worst decisions of my life! I placed my order to takeaway and I was asked to stand outside in the rain! When going back in and complaining to the manager, he said this is the policy due to covid. I don’t understand why I wasn’t able to wait inside, when the cafe was empty and they have seats. However, they are using covid as an excuse in 2022. When explaining my issue to the manager, there was no apology or understanding. Instead I was asked to leave the cafe as if I had done something wrong.

The management and staff are miserable and have no understanding of people and service. Also the food was awful, I ordered the Dark Seren wrap. I wish I never purchased this wrap as the ingredients was very poor quality and there was hardly any flavour.

Also realised that there are many other reviews with the same issues that I had. I suggest they improve the way they treat customers or I don’t think this business will last much longer.

Came here yesterday for breakfast and had amazing service from the staff working. They were very attentive and the coffees were delicious. There was a wide choice of shakes and a great coffee selection. I had a vegan burrito which was very tasty. My husband had the American waffle breakfast which was nice, but we felt not the same value for money as other menu items and the waffle was pretty flat compared to the pics on their Instagram and the bacon wasn't crispy as described on the menu.
