Town House Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Wales

The place to be last night was definitely The Town House Llandudno. A packed house was an understatement, the place was buzzing. "Tobacco Road" were on fine form and played two sets in there usual superb style. The band get better every time I see them and last night was no exception. There sound is as tight as you can get at a live performance, Lisa has a fabulous voice and is a very polished keyboard player, Andy, on lead guitar is brilliant, he plays complicated lead solos with ease, which comes with years of practise, he also runs the band. The drummer man, Dave is a professional, and it shows. A definite asset to any band. Lastly Biff the bass player does what a bass player should !!, the little riffs he does are superb, they are a very experienced and professional unit. When I ordered a drink I was asked if I wanted to double up so I asked the bar person what the difference was and she said £1 so I said yes ok but when I asked for the bill she charged me full price for two when I questioned this she said oh yes it should only be £1 extra she had to phone the manager and they said the offer wasn't on the drink I'd chosen and because I'd drunk it I had to pay full price I stood my ground and the bar person said she had told me it was £1 to double up so I eventually only paid what I was told the price was. I am very disappointed that they are not training and informing the staff of the correct prices and I assume this has happened many times to people who haven't realised it questioned. All in all...

Could not believe my ears when one of the members of staff asked me and my partner if THREE random strangers could sit on our table. Our table had only 4 chairs anyway so I can’t understand how she thought they were going to sit there. This is on top of the fact she cleared the glasses from the table yet failed to give it a wipe. It’s as though they had never heard of corona virus restrictions. They seemed to care more about getting people in to make money than the safety and health of their customers. This needs sorting as I’m sure this sort of behaviour goes against all covid guidelines. Basic things like this are important. We left within minutes and will not...
