I went last week for drinks before food. Asking the staff about vegan options i was assured that some dishes could be made vegan and so stayed. Essentially this was by removing the most expensive ingredients without substitution, hallmark of a lazy restaurant behind the times. E.g. paid £9 for some meh tomatoes and 11 for some artichokes, all tiny portions of course. I was assured there would be a great sounding noodle dish as well, so ordered that. Cocktails were excellent, but i was recommended an off menu cocktail without being told there was a £2 surcharge. Anyway, in our party of four, SIX dishes never arrived, including the noodles, which was the only reason we stayed for food. Had i known I'd leave hungry i wouldn't have stayed. Ended up paying £44 for two cocktails and two substandard small plates alongside some bread which is quite frankly outrageous.
