During our visit, we opted for the classic fish and chips, paired with perfectly chilled cider. The fish and chips were exceptional—the batter was crispy and golden, encasing fresh, tender fish that was cooked to perfection. The chips were equally delightful, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Accompanied by tangy tartar sauce and mushy peas, the meal was a true delight.

The perfectly chilled cider was a refreshing complement to our meal, enhancing the overall dining experience. Sipping the crisp, cold cider while taking in the panoramic views of the bay was an absolute highlight.

However, during peak times, the restaurant can become quite busy, which may lead to slightly longer wait times for seating and service. Despite this, the quality of the food and the breathtaking views make it well worth the wait.

Overall, Y Consti Restaurant offers a memorable dining experience in Aberystwyth. The excellent fish and chips, refreshing cider, and spectacular views combine to make it a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. Whether you're looking for a leisurely lunch or a relaxing dinner with a view, Y Consti is...

My niece held her Alice in Wonderland theme (wedding) & reception here on 25/6/22. From the time we arrived the staff made every effort to ensure every one had everything we needed. The room was changed from the wedding ceremony sesting arrangements to the meal seating arrangement to the evening reception like a magic trick, one minute the room was a wedding (chapel) next it was a seated reception complete with fully laid tables without anyone being asked to leave the room. All the staff were amazing especially KELLY. who was an exceptional host constantly going above and beyond to ensure all the wedding guests had everything they wanted and needed, and everyone was enjoying themselves. This taking pressure off the bride and groom allowing them to enjoy their special day.would definitely recommend this place for any event you would host. Staff make everything fell effortless unlike the Alice in Wonderland theme nothing was late for this very important date, but ran like clockwork due to the excellently...

Very disappointing end to the day.

Me and my partner decided to eat here today only to be left very disappointed by the attitude off one server.

Placed an order for a burger and chips and 4 glass bottles coke.

Asked the server can the burger be completely plain just the bun burger and chips.

10/15 minates go by and a burger was brought out by a different server only to have all the toppings on the burger (cheese, bacon, and salad)

My partner politely said to the server we ordered it plain.

He comes back 2 min later with a fresh plate with chips and the same burger.

We explained we ordered it completely plain as he went off muttering under his breath.

To come back seconds later with the same burger again with most the toppings clearly scraped off and still some cheese on the burger.

When asked for a fresh burger the server told us the kitchen was closed so asked for a refund and got handed cash back after paying on card.

Very disappointing experience as the rest off the day...

If I could give this place a higher rating I would. It was lovely. Upon arriving from the tram you're greeted with the wonderful view. You can walk upto constitution hill which is like 30 seconds away and it really is breathtaking. When we got there it was windy but it didn't spoil it tbh. There is crazy golf and a little gift shop but not really much in there either. You can pay £1 to go up and view the camera but we didn't do that. I think there is sometimes mini 10 pin bowling in the high season. Tha cafe was really splendid too. Definitely recommend. Lots of hot and cold options, teas, coffees, hot chocolate. Lots of vegan, gluten free options as well. I only had an oat latte but the service was really quick as well and all in all it was just a fantastic day. If you're in the area Definitely go and visit

The trip up was interesting, either by walking or by the tram taking you up to the cafe and entertainment. The cafe itself is very clean and tidy, a good choice of food, cakes and ice cream with hot and cold drinks. Gluten free options are available as is dog ice cream but I can't vouch for that itself. The views are great and I've added a pic of the from the top of the hill. There is outdoor seating as well as indoor and the staff are very friendly and helpful and love giving dogs a treat too. Overall a great cafe after the climb up the hill but more rewarding than the tram up, but this is great for children and older folk. Definitely worth a visit as they have bowling, a view tower, crazy golf but the views are to go for. Enjoy the walk!
