Hot fried chicken — Restaurant in Walsall

Lovely new discover in Walsall. The food was really fresh and I massively enjoyed it!

Pros: The WINGS!! (Amazing flavours and massive wings!) We ordered the Naga wings and I really enjoyed them. The chicken in the burger and the Parmesan chicken was cooked great. Chicken was soft and not chewy at all as most chicken breast can get. Brilliant food and good portion sizes Really friendly staff! Tas was great and was really onboard with any feedback we had to give

Cons: Drinks!! There was no regular coke, Pepsi, sprite etc. The reasoning was sugar tax! Other places still provide these drinks. You can add a small surcharge and let the customer decide if they want them. We had to grab drinks from outside The Mac and Cheese was slightly over cooked as the cheese had begun to release a lot of oil by the time we received it The containers are definitely a good idea for burgers and wings etc. But for the Parmesan chicken or anything that needs cutlery, it was really hard to eat from the container Slightly on the pricier side

But would definitely recommend. I will be back for sure if they can extend their...

The pictures on social media look amazing and mouth watering and my type of food. I ordered the phat boys box. The portion size was really good, it fed 2 people comfortably so paying £16.99 for the amount of food I received was worth it. Now whether I enjoyed the food and thought it was worth it was a different view. If every dish was excuted well. This would have been the best thing I've eaten in walsall. This is my honest view and I feel a few changes would really make this food phenomenal. The mac and cheese was bland and tastless, but the creaminess was on point. It needed a lot of seasoning. Same with the rice it tasted of nothing. It needed spices and salt. The burger was decent but filled with tastless donner . I was not a fan of at all, it tasted like frozen donner that you get from cash and carry. The wings were nice. Decent naga wings. If these things were to change I'd definitely...

Drove over 30 minutes to try this place as the food looked so good on their pages. Ordered the rooster meal (chicken burger) peri fries and a mocktail. With a side of mac & cheese. The burger is ok. Not what I expected at all, burger tastes the same as any high street chicken shop. 🍗 Peri fries had a small amount of peri on them, but NO taste. And the fries are soggy not crispy. 🍟 Now for the mac & cheese 🧀 I was extremely disappointed, it was COVERED in oil & had blatantly just been microwaved. This was THE worst mac & cheese I have EVER eaten. I spat it out, no flavour, just like eating pure oil….

This place seems like it could have some great potential, but in all honesty… save your money & go elsewhere. Mazza Meals is down the road, cheaper & better food…
