Jack & Ada's Cafe Restaurant — Restaurant in Walsall

I came to this cafe for the first time. It’s right next to the bus station - only a 1 minute walk from the main street of shops, such as WH Smith, McDonalds. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be coming again. I had a traditional English breakfast and when I gave my order at the till, the kind gentleman asked if I wanted to make any changes to it. Example - the menu said 2 bacon, 2 sausages, and so on. Instead of having 2 bacon, I asked if I could have 1 bacon and 1 hash brown instead (even though hash brown wasn’t in this section of the menu). The gentleman said this was absolutely fine and happily took my order at no extra charge. Fantastic customer service! I sat down and a lovely lady (the one with a piercing) came over with my food. The presentation was excellent and everything looked nice and clean. The breakfast tasted delicious. This place offers other meals too (not just breakfast) and also desserts. I am looking forward to trying out more.

So impressed!

The service was excellent and very welcoming, the atmosphere is lovely, even down to the music. Food was fantastic, they even have dairy free butter, and soya milk for drinks! As vegans, we found this place went above and beyond expectation! Staff were very respectful and kind, we will definitely come back again and again. 🌱🙂

Some menu suggestions as requested:

• Perhaps add scrambled 'egg' to the vegan breakfast. Just tear up some tofu, add a bit of turmeric and seasoning, fry it, easy. • Bean chilli? Chilli con carne with just beans basically. Great on a jacket potato. • Spag Bol with soy mince? • Veg sausage sandwich? • Veg burger and chips?

There are loads of easy cafe foods that can be 'veganised'. For now, we really appreciated the experience and will recommend without a...
