Great local pub with board games and decent food. Daytime / early evening very kids friendly - and dog friendly, as you'd expect. They used to have a nice selection of burgers with different fillings (egg, bacon, cheddar, stilton etc.) but now they've cut back to just one plain cheeseburger (American style cheese) and it's a patty not a burger - which is basically grilled mince beef. They're all the rage now apparently but I think it's just cost cutting and they're nowhere near as nice as a real burger imo.

We popped in for Lunch. It was very quiet but that made it nice and relaxing. The place is very nice inside with an Island bar. The drink selection looks plenty with own craft ales and high quality spirits. The food was very nice and well worth the money. Credits to the Chef. The toilets are very clean and the staff are all very nice and friendly. I would absolutely recommend eating here as well as popping in with mates for a few drinks. A credit to the Leamington Hospitality scene.

First visit to Leamington, no idea what’s good and not so good. This was our second stop of the evening. Really busy bar with a range of ages in the clientele. Even so, served quickly and with a friendly smile. Decided to stay for some food. The poke bowl with teriyaki chicken was plentiful and tasty. Same for the chicken skewers. The batter on the fish and chips was slightly less crispy than I would have liked but tasty and fresh. Would definitely return.

Brought the mains out before the starters, so we sent them back, then brought out the starters. After we were finished with the starters, we sat for about 30 minutes waiting for it to be cleared, before we heard our mains being served to the table next to us. They rejected them and then they were given to us, but they had kept the chilli flakes on the kids pizzas, which we asked for them to be off. Then they took them back and recooked everything, so we waited another 20 minutes. They then brought the correct food out but forgot our sides and said they needed to cook them so it would be another 10 minutes. The waiter said that some of the confusion was because our mains and starters had been put through as 2 different orders and that one of the staff was sending all the food to the wrong tables. When we were leaving, one of the waiters came through with someone else’s burgers and dropped them on the floor. Wouldn’t say it was super cheap and they weren’t understaffed so...

Interesting visit... Waiter was rude - when we sat down they said they'd come and clean the table which had spilt beer from the night before on which the waiter was telling us was rain from a hole in the roof!!? Safe to say when we left the beer was still on the table ready for the next lucky customers. When we ordered food the waiter misheard us and tried to tell us in a rude way that we were in the wrong and had said 'extra seasoning' rather than 'extra Yorkshires'... Ah yes that classic British dish, a roast dinner with extra seasoning... The food itself was nice, large portion sizes and the beef on the roast dinner was enough to feed a family of 4 so would definetely recommend for anyone trying to pack in the protein. Overall would probably go back just for drinks but not for food as it did feel very much like we were visiting the staff on the morning after the night before. 10/10 for...

Booked table and said we had a small dog and asked for a lower table (because of the dog).

Arrived and were shown to a high bench table. When I asked about the lower table I was just told “no” and the waiter left.

On this bench was another group of people, meant to be 2, but more ended up coming until there was 6 of them. No social distancing measures being enforced by staff.

Staff were either not wearing masks or had them just around their chin (I think we saw 2/3 staff with masks on properly).

We weren’t given any menus. We asked and the waiter just ran off. We were told to just look at the bar for drinks (even though we are supposed to leave the table).

The food was alright, nothing to write home about. But the staff were rude, clearly not following their own guidelines and just overall terrible experience.

Avoid if you care about COVID or any resemblance of...
