Couldn't find a full English breakfast on the menu so ordered scrambled eggs on toast and side of mushrooms and a side of bacon, which was good. Coffee was a little too bitter for me. None of the tables were even wiped, let alone sanitised, between customers. Even the table the dog was seated at eating it's dog food from the table wasn't sanitised. One vacated table next to us wasn't even cleared the whole time that we were there. After a kind gesture and an apology from Rob, I have to change my review and give 5 stars. The highest value for me is the owner's efforts to correct the staff's mistakes, even though it wasn't his fault.
I love the story of the Lynwood cafe, so when we were planning our trip to the Cotswolds, we had to visit the cafe in Burford.
First impression was great, HOWEVER the foreign lady who served us was incredibly rude. Also the tables were dirty (crumbs etc.).
Such a shame as the cafe is in a lovely location and is beautiful in its own right.
