This was our second time staying at priory tea rooms , the rooms are situated at the back of the tea room, in a little courtyard, They are small ,just enough room for a double bed small wardrobe and walk in shower bathroom , tv on the wall and tea and coffe making facilities. We only stayed 2 nights each time we came .You can have breakfast in the tea room at an extra cost but you get discount for staying there. All staff were lovely and friendly. Burford is a lovely medieval street lots of pubs ,tea rooms , some small art galleries and lots of old buildings, once you've spent the morning or afternoon wondering about ,theres not much more to do ,so we used it as a base for going out to other places .we went to Bourton on the water, slaughters end and upper slaughter all wirth a visit very pretty places .some of the photos are from our first visit at the end of December, the others are from a few days ago in june .

We popped into the lovely little Cotswold town of Burford again, having been here many times before.....It was around lunch time so we decided to go into the Priory Tea rooms for our refreshments.....It's not a very big place inside but we were lucky enough to get a window side table.........We ordered our food and drinks ,without having to wait long as the service was excellent from the lovely friendly and welcoming staff.....When the food arrived I must say it was a very large portion and well worth the money, that being the chilly and cheese jacket potatoes which were very nice, personally I would have liked a bit of butter on the potato before the filling but that's just me,it was still very enjoyable.......As with all the buildings in this sweet little Cotswold town it was lovely and quaint inside,a great place to pop into if feeling peckish.....šŸ‘

Spontaneous trip to Burford due to our delayed English summer time. I fancied a traditional tea, scone with clotted cream and jam, I opted for this location. Lucky for me it was quiet and I chose to dine inside but there are options to sit outside and out back. The afternoon Tea deal for £5.75 represents good value, I managed to get three cups of tea and there's two tea bags in the bag which is a good arrangement for a tea pot. I asked the poor (new) blonde girl working what is the correct way of consuming said scone: verdict was jam first! Delicious and this is extremely filing and I didn't eat until late afternoon. Card payment is preferred and this is fine by me. Both staff members were extremely polite and welcoming and happy to answer my questions. The locals are equally polite and one kind lady even gave me tour advice! I would go back.

My mum, sister and I stayed here for two nights in February for my birthday. Our rooms were lovely and clean and the bedding perfect - important to note especially after staying in a big hotel where the bedding was stained beyond belief! Because the rooms are behind the cafe it is also lovely and quiet so making our stay particularly relaxing. You would never know that you were on the main high street because it was so quiet. Breakfast was also very good and very filling, the bread tasted like it had been made in-house and was quite tasty. The staff were lovely and very helpful too. Parking isn't perfect, but the car park was only a couple of hundred yards behind the teashop and wasn't a hardship to walk to and from. It actually gave us an excuse to explore the area behind the main road, such as the church, church yard, the river bank, the other shops and pubs that you can't see if you were driving through etc. All-in-all we would...

AVOID this place like the plague. First of all, the lady who owns this place, is extremely rude not to mention rascist. The minute my family and I sat down, she saw brown people and came to tell us she no longer serves hot food at 4:30 pm. Mind you, this is a place that says ā€˜ALL DAY BREAKFAST’. She was extremely rude, told off her staff for letting us sit down, but at the same time had no problem with another couple who sat down beside us. I can comment on whether they were being served hot food or not, but she didn’t seem to mind, I suppose because they were white. For me, this place needs to be called out and the the people who own this need to know and realise this attitude isn’t going to get them far. So, if you have a dog, a baby or god forbid a skin tone that is too much of an inconvenience for this snooty woman, might as well save yourself the trouble and the money and spend it where your...
