Unfortunately not a good visit beautiful decor and great service The food was a different tale tho over priced for what I received. Lobster paradelle was over seasoned with black pepper to the point of it been spicy. The paradelle was in its self over cooked. The lobster buisq was Unfortunately just cream and tomato to make a pink souce and if I am wrong about that then ypu should address this sauce. I also had the king prawns in chilly and ginger and garlic. Calling 21/25s from the cash and carry king prawns is a bit cheeky considering the wealth of seafood at your finger tips. Secondly if ypu are going to put no effort in to this dish just by baking them in the ingredients does not bring this dish to the possible fullest of flavors it could be. The butter becomes split witch intern when eating said dish leaves a film of fat on roof of ypur mouth tainting the rest of the food. Also by not cooking the ingredients in the stages they are supposed to go in simply says to me its lazy cooking I hope this review helps address the issues I have raised. Modern day Italian food is not complex to do but has to be prepared and presented to the standard at what you wish to charge. Also I do belive the use of coriander as a garnish on a dish like lobster is in my opinion not a great idea due to coriander been such an over powering herd and lobster been a delicate flavor I did not eat the coriander as I could tell the difrence between this and parsly but some of your patrons may not hope this finds you well and good look...

I was expecting some of the best pizza I'd ever eaten after reading reviews of Pizza West, but sadly what I got was distinctly average at best. Whilst the staff were all very pleasant, the service was chaotic; rather than having designated jobs, each member of staff seemed to be doing everything from front of house greeting, to taking orders, to mixing cocktails, to serving food, hence it took an age before our order was even taken (which matters when you are told on booking that you have a time limit on your table).

The pizza itself was the biggest let down. My ham and mushroom pizza was both burnt around the edges and very oily closer to the centre; my partner's chicken shawarma was dried out and minus the pomegranate promised on the menu. (They did warn him of this after we'd ordered, and asked if he'd like a substitute topping, but what do you replace pomegranate with? And they made no suggestions, so we just left it without.) We boxed half of our pizzas to eat the next day, as we often do, but honestly we couldn't face them and ended up binning them as they just weren't that nice.

The restaurant itself is nice inside, quite instagramable is the way I'd describe it, and it's in a lovely location looking out to sea. Unfortunately the pizza itself doesn't live up to the hype, for the very high prices I expected something...

The decor inside was gorgeous and the hostess was charming. We sat outside and asked if they could possibly turn the music down a bit so we could talk. They were very accommodating. We shared two pizzas, a king prawn and an anchovy. The ingredients were super fresh and tasty. The king prawn was amazing. The anchovy was very good, but between the anchovies and the capers it was a bit salty. Five stars!

Update: The king prawn pizza was so good that I had to have it again the next day for lunch. The pizza was fab, but this time when we asked if the could turn the music down and after about 8 - 10 minutes we figured she must have forgotten our request. When we asked the young lady that brought our food out if the music could be turned down she went inside and then came out and told us the music had already been turned down for us and it wouldn't be turned down any lower. By the way we were the only people eating outside (I really don't understand restaurants that have the music up loud enough that you have to really raise your voice to be heard. I go to a restaurant for the food and to converse with my guests). That was pretty much the end of our conversation for the time we were there. Had we not had guests looking forward to eating there because our rave review I would have gotten...

Visited in August 2023. This place is pricier than we would normally go for but had heard good things and it was our anniversary. Service was a little slow in parts (especially bringing the bill), but they were quite busy. I wouldn’t bother with a margarita next time as again the cocktails were pricey and this one tasted quite salty nearer the bottom (not sure if some salt from the garnish or preparation might have made its way into the drink). We were also told that the pepperoni and burrata pizza was not available as they were low on burrata, but that we could order the burrata as a starter. I did really fancy the burrata so decided to order it as a starter and try a different pizza. Annoyingly, a little later in the evening we did see another customer eating the same pizza I was told wasn’t available (they ordered after we did). Having said that, we did really enjoy all the food - all was well presented & tasty, some very different pizza selections and the tiramisu was excellent. It was a nice atmosphere with the kitchen being at the centre of the restaurant. Nicely decorated inside and felt very cosy during the bad weather. Would come again but probably only for a special occasion given the prices.

I was taken out with a friend for a meal here. I must say that the service, setting and atmosphere were very good. I opted for the chops and Tzatziki as a starter. They were superb. For my main I opted for a plain Margarita pizza, the pizza was cooked to perfection, that said I did think it was a bit heavy on the tomatoe. I also asked for balsamic, a favourite of mine. Sadly, the Colavita balsamic was not very good, I find it somewhat overly acidic and and that an 'affordable' balsamic is not a good match for this menu. The thing which lead to me leaving three stars rather than four was the wine. I opted for the Andrea Di Pec Pinot Grigio. At £11 for a large glass I was expecting something wonderful, sadly I was confronted with something less than inspiring. I was so surprised that I actually Googled it, suspecting a £15 retail price bottle bi in fact found it at a smidge over a tenner. I wouldn't pay £6 a bottle for it. They could do themselves a huge favour by replacing it with Priara Pinot. Not only would they get it cheaper but we'd get a better table wine. The rest of the drinks were priced a bit stiff.
