Amor Cafe and Bistro — Restaurant in Wirral

I have eaten here once before and the food was fine. Visited today and it is will be the last time. The staff need to learn to welcome their customers... Lady with long, red tinged hair and glasses has no customer service skills whatsoever and is blatantly disinterested. The floor was filthy and littered with bits. Checked two tables and they were filthy as were the chairs. The other chairs around us and the ones at our table are covered in a velvet-like material and are dirty with brown marks... they need wiping down with a hot soapy cloth as do the chair legs. Order was brought to the table without one word from the waitress I mentioned above. At the bottom of the cup was a piece of black scum that left a mark on the table. Grabbed a napkin to wipe it and the napkins had been used already. Disgusting service, miserable staff and filthy premises. BTW, the staff were standing about talking, and there was maybe two other tables being used, so no excuse...

Visited Amor cafe for lunch with the family. The ambience of the place was warm and welcoming, the decor was gorgeous and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There was plenty to choose from on the menu and a huge selection of vegan and vegetarian meals, for our diet restricted diner members. The food came out prompt, and was delicious. Considering how busy it was the staff never let the service slip once, they made the time and effort to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Heard about this cafe from family members, and from their recommendation we made it on Saturday. Well worth that visit, amazing. First off this place is small so when we had a party of eight, it could have been tricky. No reservations are taken but they did say if we could wait 15 mins they could accommodate us. Excellent. Other reviews say the coffee is excellent, I'll agree with that. Stayed hot for ages too! The Amor breakfast at £8.25 is a steel and well worth it. A smaller version at £6.25 is available. Tastes amazing. Staff excellent and friendly. Well worth a return visit. Well done...
