Gill's cafe — Restaurant in Wirral

Charged me imaginary prices not even on the menu. Scrambled egg on toast plus a coffee was meant to be £5. I got charged £6.20 An overcharge of £1.60 in total.when I got my food I asked the prices whilst looking at the menu and she reeled off prices that didn't match the menu. No explanation. Not even a sorry, I'm looking to update my menu. Very misleading. I actually went in because the menu on the window had reasonable prices. Her service was abrupt which is why I didn't argue about her prices. I just wanted a quiet and peaceful...

Gill's is fantastic. We've been coming here for years and the whole family love it. Gill and her staff are so helpful and friendly and will make the food however you want it. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and, most of all, the food is amazing, so lovingly prepared with fresh ingredients ever single time. I've been to many, many cafes and Gill's is the best value for money...

The poshest bus station cafe I've ever eaten at! Lovely food, very clean cafe with a nautical feel to it. Gill and her friend were very friendly, everything we chose was freshly made. I would definitely go back again, there was a really welcome feeling...
