When it comes to burgers 🍔 its all about the ratio... too much or little and its ruined, but these guys have nailed it! the burger turned up looking like a poster burger 👌 its the little things... i could smell How good it was before i even bit Into it 🤤 the bun held together & stayed together throughout & then the choice of bacon 🥓 was streaky bacon not just your usual bacon sarny bacon! You could tell it had been put together instead of THROWN together 🍔 burgers lifes matter ✊ they even whipped me up a pot of blue cheese sauce to give it an extra bit of cheesey punch which isn't on the menu but it should be because its was 10/10 ! The messy fries again were a 10/10, alot of ppl think they can just throw bacon & cheese at stuff and it will have that American Street food style when in reality instead of making messy fries they've just made A MESS OF FRIES 🍟 not these guys though yet again the attention to detail was there and the fries BANGED 👏👏 the main thing is im absolutely stuffed 😩 and didn't spend a fortune! Knew this pub from a few years back. Recently called in, for old-times’ sake. (Turns out they don’t serve Sake)

It’s a breath of fresh air. A local, sports-bar pub. Tasteful decor, good selection of drinks, and very positive staff.

Alex and his team are to be highly commended - to enter a pub as a stranger, and to be greeted so warmly by each member of staff, and addressed by name by Alex, clearly demonstrates the mark of the man. And of his staff.

Everyone comes across so well, you can’t help but immediately warm to them. The locals are friendly, and engaging. I’m sure the pool table is still as good as ever, but it’s currently off limits.

Not yet tried the food, but the menus read so appetisingly, I’m sure it won’t be long before I do.

Well done to all. These simple steps are how to run and grow a successful pub business. Keep your regulars happy, and encourage newcomers into the fold.

After mixed reviews I was interested to find out for myself. I was very pleased with what I found. Lots of seating inside and out. A wide range of different seats, high low, cushioned and tall back rest. Plenty for all. The new winter menu is no different. A healthy mix of traditional pub food with a modern twist. Highly recommend the fudge brownie cake. It is HUGE! Any very yummy. Drinks choice is vast weather you desire spirits, ale, larger or soft drinks for drivers and kids. All of this in wonderful clean and inviting surroundings topped off with very polite staff. Weather your flying by on your bike, wondering out in your car, this place will cater for you. Families couples etc, you won't go wrong. It isn't the cheapest pub you will ever see but the quality atmosphere food and service are all more than worth the...
