Seriously impressed! This may well be my new fave coffee stop in town, certainly in the top 3 - and coffee here sits at number 1 (see details and pics below!)
Very glad to have stumbled in here yesterday. The menu was enticing, I could have happily chosen any option, but went for the Welsh rarebit, and my fella the carnivore breakfast.
When ordering, I asked for a double shot flat white, and was pleasantly surprised to be told all coffees are double shot. In my opinion this makes them great value and the quality of the coffee was second to none (believe me, we’ve tried a few spots over the last week or so!)
The food came out within a reasonable time, 5-10 mins max. And was cooked to perfection. I added a poached egg to mine, and two came out, which I was grateful for, as they were beautiful soft poached and runny. Beautiful stuff. The pickled onion side was a great touch and really complemented the tasty rarebit. I would have this again and again if we lived here I’m sure!
Both very happy, satisfied tummies and adequately caffeined up.
The service must also be mentioned - the lovely lady who took our order was a delight, she assisted us with moving two tables together like it was no big deal, and was just lovely with our children. And the guy who brought our coffee and food over was similarly very pleasant.
Together with the beautiful fresh and clean space, we will certainly be back in a few weeks. Thanks to the...
Read moreWe went there during a break from sunbathing because we were tempted by the good rating on Google. And we were not disappointed. Delicious cakes and even more delicious, beautifully served coffee. It was a great idea to serve water before we even ordered anything. On a hot day, it's a great addition to... everything 💪😃 I don't know how long this small, cozy place has been standing, but it has the potential to be more beautiful and cozy. I looked at the beautiful, galvanized flower pots hanging on the walls. And it broke my heart that there were no beautiful, even artificial, plants in them, which not only emphasized the charm of the pots but also the charm of the place. I also feel that there is some space between some tables to place, for example, a stand with a plant or shelves to separate the row of tables a bit. And this wonderful raw brick wall 😍😍. Beautiful wall. There you need a shelf with beautiful bottles or cookie jars. Some metal decorations. And the window sills are also a bit sad. A beautiful place with potential, wonderful staff and delicious food, but there is no female hand there. If I may gently suggest - it is worth giving the girls a payment card and letting them into Home Sense. I'm sure they will turn this place into a real gem💙😅😅. I wish...
Read moreThis is a “good slow food” cafe I had the pleasure of eating here almost everyday of my stay in the neighbourhood over Christmas delicious coffee but the food … mmmm 🤤 No nasty ingredients, everything loving prepped and cooked up fresh with options for veggies alike plus v careful with allergies requirements 👌🏻 Simon and his team always so personable warm & welcoming - work very hard to ensure a great visit! Even when full didn’t wait long for table/service. You can be sure for some cute interactions with other guests or friendly staff - doggos (dogs can have gluten free biscuits bonus! ) Especially enjoyed the sweet potato rosti and even though not crispy ( as no deep frier in their kitchen) was delicious with the tastiest mushrooms - I added chorizo with mine, great combo. Avo toast would eat twice if I could .. Carrot cake to die for 🥰 If you haven’t gone yet …GO support local ❤️ support small independent businesses! ❤️ This place is a hidden gem in Worthing ! Uploaded photos but don’t show up...
