Mr Toys Flying Wok Noodle Bar — Restaurant in Worthing

If I could give 0 stars I would. We can't review any food I'm afraid as they refused to serve us! We were driving through Worthing and deliberately stopped to try this place. We paid to park the car. We walked in and stood behind a man who was waiting at the counter. Neither member of staff said anything to us. After a few minutes the man at the counter received his food and then it was our turn to be served. As I took a step to the counter we were told "we closed at 5pm". Why did they let us stand there and not say anything to us before! How rude to refuse to serve customers who have been stood queuing! We have never been here before and we won't be returning. During a cost of living crisis many businesses are desperate for customers but here they don't care and can afford to turn you away! You are supposed to make customers feel appreciated, not feel like an inconvenience! That sort of food is extremely quick to cook so you could have chosen to do the customer friendly thing and serve us but you chose to show us the door. Instead, we went (almost next door) to a cafè called VITA which we can highly recommend and we will definitely return to VITA again soon. We had the most beautiful fish and chips. The staff were friendly and polite too. For the staff at Mr Toys Flying Wok Noodle Bar, firstly, to stop unwanted customers, try shutting and locking the front door at 5pm then putting up a sign that says "closed". Secondly, pop round to VITA then watch and learn how to make customers feel welcome and how to treat them...

It's so annoying that when you order online for only yourself you are expected to pay £4.50 delivery fee then an extra 99p service charge and on top of that they want to make you pay £1.50 small portion fee, like how absolutely ridiculous is that! The noodles are great yes, but I'm not paying for noodles that are already £7.50 and then paying another £7 which is basically another portion of noodles just so it can be delivered to my house which is only lile 20 mins away...so disappointing I love their noodles and makes me not be able to get them. Also last time I got it delivered to my house with other people getting it too! It had taken two plus hours for them to deliver our food and this whole time they didn't message or call us to let us know what was going on so just feels like they can't handle all of the orders! I have never had a problem with this place but yesterday I was appalled. The prawns cost extra although nowhere on the menu is this stated so I was surprised to see my order of two portions of noodles total to almost £15... this was made even worse by the fact that upon going to eat my food I was greeted with only 3 prawns in my order, and two long black hairs. My partner ordered a portion with mixed seafood, both the calamari and the mussels tasted out of date and disgusting.
