PizzaExpress — Restaurant in Worthing

this is a very good pizza express been wanting to visit this branch for years,its located in an obscured location,The food is very tasty.But i just loved this branch so much when i visited,the staff were absoloutley exemplatory they seriously couldnt do enough for you.All the staff were kind,calm,patient,understanding and polite.This is the best customer service ive seen at pizza express ever at most of the branches the customer sservice is usually ok.But our waiter i think his name was Daniel even took the time to ask if my pizza was ok even though the restauraunt was full.The atmosphere is so cozy i love the homley feel this branch has like youre in different rooms of the house the lobby has one feel,the bar area had another feel,the conservatory had another feel and the spiral staircase area which i really like had another feel and the upstairs had another feel.I loved the conservatory area it felt very homley.There is also lots of outdoor seating in the restauraunt which is nice for the summer.The paintings and books look really nice and beautiful.The building looks very smart from the outside.The new takeaway boxes look really nice with their new logo expressly for evereyone and also they have a good sauce list for the takeaways.The only negative is tables were a little sticky and there were also a few dirt marks on the tables.But apart from that i will certainly be back!!Very...

We arrived at a busy time, so staff were unstandably under pressure but MY GOD, did everyone arriving know about it! The manager who was 'welcoming' and seating everyone was brusque, dismissive, forgetful and in some cases, downright rude. He was barking at staff and openly speaking about tables of customers like they were 'units' that needed to be moved on. The poor kitchen and serving staff were doing their best, but you could see they were all operating under a cloud of tension. This all created a really unwelcoming and unrelaxing environment as soon as you walked in. Everyone was commenting on it (while we waited for up to 15 mins to even be acknowledged!). The feeling of being 'processed' continued at our table, when they tried to clear our plates before we'd finished eating not once, but twice! Food was as expected but we won't be hurrying back, as we prefer to enjoy our dining experiences. This restaurant is a credit to the Pizza Express chain. I love PE and have visited quite a few in my time but I have to say the Worthing one has got to be one of my favourites. The service is excellent - every single one of the hospitality team we spoke to were absolutely spot on. They were kind, personable, great with my son, read the room and knew when to come back and take further food or drink orders. Everything was spot on from the service perspective. The food was also delicious. We recently went to a different PE and the food was totally different and nowhere near as good. The food was aesthetically pleasing as well as cooked perfectly and great toppings on the pizzas. We sat outside in the sun which was lovely and it's really nice that there is an outside area. The pinot blush rose is some very good wine! All in all, I thought our afternoon lunch was great, extremely good value for money and I'm also pretty gobsmacked I haven't been here before, considering it's my home...
