Read morePlease check your statements When ordering anything from This place With a charge card, because when I placed orders online For pickup my total would be one price on The receipt, but another on my statement, example I ordered food on 4/22/2021 and the total on my receipt said $17.97 Well when it showed up on my online app bank statement the total was $41,72 I said wow thats a big difference, so when I ordered breakfast on 4/23/2021 I walked inn to pickup my order and asked the manager for a receipt for 4/22/2021 he said ok, what's wrong, I told him and showed him what was going on, HE said let me go print the receipt for you, he was back in his office for a good amount of time, he comes out with a full-size sheet of paper not a actual receipt paper, the paper looks like someone use Microsoft Word to make a receipt, he shows me the paper and saids I don't understand why your being charged that much when this is all I charged you for, I said can I have that copy of paper and can you sign it, so he did, I said thanks so when it post to my account I can find out what the bank records show and what they have on file that would make it so high and dispute the difference, he said ok. We'll funny thing happened later that day the whole order for 4/22/2021 was gone, like I never ordered anything, the total for the food that I did get wasn't even on there like someone just deleted the whole order for whatever reason 🤔 when I ordered food on 4/25/2021 on my card again the total was $17.97 on the receipt but what do you know the pending amount on my app statement was $22.97 huh? Second time in the same week? Well I said this time I'm going to let it post and ask the bank for a copy of what they sent them, and what they have on file, we'll what do you know I found out what I was thinking might have been going on was, they are defrauding my receipt, they are adding tips to the receipt for the store copy, on the receipt after I leave with my order, so my receipt that is tagged on the bag for customer copy shows $17.97, well merchant's copy is showing $17.97, TIP $5.00 for the bank to pay them more that I never agreed upon smh. I notified the Aberdeen police department, and the fraud investigation department. So now on I'm paying with cash because I know that way when I leave they can't change the money on me, this...
If there any restaurant you want to avoid at all costs, it is Bob Evans in Aberdeen. The food is okay but the service is awful along with their attitude. I placed a phone order and was told it would be 15 to 20 minutes. I placed my order at 9:15am , and arrived at the restaurant at 9:45am. Gave my name and paid for my order. I waited and waited and waited. In the meantime I witnessed numerous Grub Hub and Door Dash orders being picked up. I asked at 10:15 am for an update; "its being worked on". At 10:30 still waiting. At this point I said cancel my order and give me a refund. The manager was called over. He went into the kitchen, and said my order should ready out front. Nothing there. He checked the register and did not find me in the system. I said you had me in the order because when I gave my name, she told the amount due which was what I was told on the phone, so obviously I had to be in the system. At that point he said he will personally make my order. He came out 5 minutes later, and I had him go over my order to ensure accurate. The store manager did so but was clearly annoyed. I said that I want it to be right because I did not want to have to come back. Then he amazingly said to me that is why we have on line ordering. What a comment to make to a customer that you had inconvenienced. I replied and that is why there are other restaurants and I will be using them going forward. Read moreWorst service ever! I visited this Bob Evans a month ago and finally got up and left after 25 minutes of waiting to order. I even asked the hostess to send our waitress to the table and she never came. I decided to give them another try and went there last night. We were seated and ordered our food right away but then we sat, along with people at 5 other tables, waiting for food to be served. I asked the hostess why we were all waiting for food and she told me the seating chart was messed up and also that the cook was out on a break! When the food finally came my son's steak was charred black on both sides and was not edible. My steak was on the plate with his vegetables. I finished my meal before my son's new meal was ever served. Also, there was a hair on my plate. Yuck! I talked to the manager as we were leaving and told him about both incidents. He was not even interested. He did tell me the charred steak was his fault as he was supposed to be watching it while the cook was on break. Does this make any sense? I do want to mention that our waitress, Jennifer, was very nice and efficient. I will never go back to this restaurant again. They need to go out of business and...
