After placing an order a day head there was system glitch that showed sandwich was $0.00, and the pickle was the only thing being charged. Even after totaling before check out it showed $2 something for the pickle. After I made my purchase it jumped to $22 from my reciept.
Since the order was placed at night during closed hours I waited for the next day.
Almost 2 hrs before pick up time I called and spoke to an employee about canceling my order.
She pulled it up and confirmed I wanted to cancel it. I said yes and we hung up.
10 ish mins After the pick up time for the now canceled order I got a call that I missed and listened to the voicemail and even a text from a manager (maybe GM) asking where I was.
So I called to explain that I already talked to an employee about canceling my order. She then ignored that fact and was arguing about it.
I explained I didn't want my order since it didn't ring up right. (I wasn't asking for her to override the coupon or anything I just wanted to cancel.) I told her about the system error and everything.
She continued to give a strong defensive attitude about wanting to cancel the order. Then said she would need to see the reciept in person
I explained I have a dissability ai wouldn't be able to just go, but I can email her. She agreed.
I sent the call log on my phone showing what time I called the store, the FAQ on the website showing how to cancel my order (by calling ahead and canceling), I forwarded the receipt and circled where it was $0.00 then my total was different at the bottom.
I never got a reply about if she recieved it or not....
Few days go by still nothing I decided to contact my bank to dispute a day after I finally got a forwarded email about my order being canceled.
My point was regardless if it was an order like any other day (without coupon) I should be able to call ahead and cancel my order per website FAQ. I did not even argue about the coupon not working I agreed why it didn't but there in fact was an issue with thier check out that reflected a different total than what I was charged. I just simplu wanted to cancel.
It shouldn't take an act of congress to cancel it, and I did not appreciate the tone she took with me. I could hear in her voice how hostile she was being.
I understand it was probably a busy day because of the free sub coupon, but don't take it out on your customers. I was being logical and followed the given protocol to terminate my purchase before the designated...
Read moreIf I could give this location a negative review I would. We just got food from there and I watched them wipe the sandwich meat with a napkin/rag or something after it was put on another sandwich, then put on another sandwich. When I said something the man behind the counter said umm ok and handed me the sandwiches anyways. I made a complaint about it. Then the Aera Manager named Felicia (yes that’s the name she gave me) called. I explained what happened. She said I’m not trying to justify them but they must have used a clean napkin not a rag. She also said she would talk to the staff and if I wasn’t going to eat it then I could bring it back up there for a full refund. I stated that I wasn’t coming back up there right now. She replied with well it’s like Walmart and if you buy a pair of jeans that don’t fit you take them back and after we close the registers down, I can’t help you. I asked for the corporate number because this isn’t customers service at all. She told me I did contact corporate and she wasn’t giving me a number. Then I told her I would let the health department know what they were doing. She replied with we just had an inspection we passed. This woman is very unprofessional and the fact that she said I was scamming her over some sandwiches ($27.00). Yeah WTH ever lady!! People watch out when you go there they aren’t what they seem. I’m not wasting my time to go back up there before they close over the facts of their mistakes. Someone really needs to train the managers at this place. Hopefully someone else sees this and knows how the AM is treating customers. Since she says it’s like Walmart maybe she should go work at a Walmart. I wonder how happy the owner would be to know you are telling customers the sandwiches are like a pair of jeans and that you have to return it before the end of business day to get an...
Read moreI went to try the Jalapeño Ranch Chicken Wrap. I was surprised when I saw it because it was basically Chicken Salad with Jalapeño flavor. I expected fresh, sliced chicken with maybe chopped fresh or canned jalapeños . The Jalapeño flavor was bold from the very first bite. The flavor was great and there was plenty of it. They put crispy Jalapeño bits in there and I added bacon to mine. It all paired well with the fresh tomato and thinly sliced onions, so this instantly became a favorite for me. Also, the tortilla is a nice contrast to the thicker bread on the sandwich. I took off a star because of the price. I’m not complaining, to be clear, I do not mind paying good money for good food, and this is certainly good. However, when you look at the overall price to product ratio, for almost 19.00 your getting a wrap with drink and chips. If the wrap was oversized, ok Lots more chicken would maybe substantiate the price. In fairness, I added bacon which drove up the price a little. Overall, I’ll definitely be back for this meal. Not disappointed in any way, and the wife...
