Well, I shoulda checked the reviews. Wanted to get a nice steak for Father's Day and Logans was much closer to my hotel than Texas Roadhouse so I figured I would give them a try. Bad idea. I got the moonshine shrimp and the 16oz ribeye and ordered a margarita. The margarita was the best part of the meal. The shrimp came out and the plate and chips were hot and the shrimp was almost cold, but the shrimp had good flavor. My steak came out over cooked, I told my service professional it was over cooked. She said no problem at all and took the plate back to the kitchen. 15 minutes later I get the exact same piece of meat back only now it was further over cooked. So I told her it was the exact same piece of meat and now it was further over cooked so she took it back again. About 6 minutes later the manager brought the same piece of meat back to me only this time it was cut completely in half. I told him it was over cooked and he told me my server told them it needed to be cooked more. He offered to either remove it from my bill or make a new steak. I chose the new steak, again wrong choice. I got my new steak, cut into it and it still wasn't quite right but I told her it was fine and proceeded to eat my steak. Worst quality ribeye I have ever ate. It had to of been 60% fat and gristle. I eventually gave up because I didn't have a mini chainsaw to cut it with. Worst Father's Day meal ever. Now I know better to stick with Texas Roadhouse.

Visited Logans for lunch with our grandchildren. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. We didn't get any peanuts, not sure if they offer anymore. However, the atmosphere changed with the waitress. She brought us our rolls with no plates. After asking for some, she brought us 3 plates for our party of 4. She made no effort to be friendly. Not a smile nor a "you're welcome" after thanking her continually during our visit. To start off? They were out of Raspberry Tea, so I had to settle for Peach tea. I didn't care much for it; so my husband drank it. I just drank water. The children's drinks were served with lids. Perfect! The popcorn shrimp and fries off the childrens menu was the perfect size for my 5 yr. old granddaughter. She ate all her shrimp. The burger my other granddaughter ordered looked delicious. Eating only half because it was big for her. My husband and I ordered the country chicken fried steak. Side fries for him, a baked potatoe for me. We both ordered a salad. It was crisp and delicious. However, when our meal came out, I could not believe the size of our chicken fried steak. It looked like something off the childrens menu. Such a disappointment. Well, the waitress eventually said you're welcome and even managed to give a small smile. Not sure if we will return. It was pricey for such a small meal and unfriendly service.

December 21st 2018 Review: - Food: standard Logan's, thumb up. - Service, here we go: +Walked in at 7:15... Had to wait for 20 min for a taboe even when we noticed plenty of them available. + Got in the table, no peanuts in table... After 5 min wait I walk to the barrel and serve them myself, no big deal. + When I got back there was stillsno waitress... 5 min after she ask for our drinks order. We order drinks and plates + nachos right there. + Nachos and food arrived at same time, still no drinks not beer in table. + when food arrived I needed to ask for silverware, it arrived some minutes later. + Then had to ask for napkins. We had dinner, nothing to mention until... + Asked for check, had to wait for another 10 min NOTE: waitress was running all over the place (she was busy) and restaurant was full; the "improvement opportunity" is not to the waitress, it's to management, you guys (management) need to do a lot better. Yes, I still tipped waitress 25%, was not her fault and is Christmas season. PS: restroom was extremely dirty. Texas road House is just crossing the street; can not be worst than this .

My husband and I took my parents to this restaurant this afternoon. We went in at 3:00pm for a late lunch/early dinner which was nice because there weren’t a lot of people there and we figured we could beat the dinner crowd. In total, we made a table of 7. Four adults and three older kids ages 10-14.We went in and the hostess, who more than likely was just having a rough day asked how big the party was without so much of a how are ya only to roll her eyes and let us know that we would have to wait for 20 mins. Cool. We will wait. We are a table of 7 after all. While we waited, we watched several other tables being sat prior to us understandably since we were a bigger party. The issue came from the fact that they made us wait for 20 mins only to be sat at a BOOTH meant for six (maybe) and it was a booth that sat empty the entire 20 minutes we had to wait even though there was a larger table available and stayed available during our entire visit. We made it work though thinking it was a lack of staff because let’s be honest, good staff are hard to find these days. So four of us scrunch on one side while the other three scrunched on the other. All the while my poor husband was hanging off the side of our side of the booth. We were never offered a different alternative and even asked for a chair to put at the the end of the table but alas, no chair was given. We ordered our food which is when problem number two came occurred. I specifically asked for the mushroom jack burger and conversed with the waitress to see if I could get it as a burger and not on chicken. She said it could be done and went to put it in. Our table was rarely checked on and even though the waitress joked about how crowded our table look (we weren’t laughing) she never helped clear off plates and such that weren’t being used to make more room. I ended up having to move the extras to a table next to us so we could get room. When our food did come, my burger was indeed chicken not a burger as we agreed so I had to wait for my food while my family finished their meals without me. By the time my order was corrected, my family was done eating and ready to go. At this point I was frustrated and finally just grabbed a chair from another table so that we could have more room. Another waitress helping ours during our second check in even made the remark of how it was hard to move around me and the chair to get to my husbands drink to FINALLY get his refill. The final straw for me with this establishment was when we got up to leave, the bus boy couldn’t push us out fast enough as he started bussing the table while my dad was trying to get out of the booth and jacket on. I was so disappointed in the service and lack of concern for the customers. We are from the Lubbock area and came to visit my parents and actually suggested this restaurant because we have only ever had good experiences in our Lubbock location. Never judge a book I guess because this will be the last time we come back to...

New management and ownership? I changed my review this place has really turned around and everything is high quality and delicious.

My family and I went to this location last night to celebrate a birthday. I really felt bad for the person who chose that is their place to celebrate. Just like the review before us our server seemed to not be able to to be bothered. The first thing that was very frustrating we had asked for table and was told there would be a wait because all of the tables in the restaurant were full now keep in mind the restaurant itself had very few patrons. I noticed that there were two tables that were in the bar area so I just said can we not have one of those. The hostess agreed and began to set us at one of those tables the bartender said oh yeah both of those tables are broken so we went ahead and agreed to have a seat in a booth.ironically not long after we came in another larger party was saddened to a different area where there were several tables I just don't understand that mentality. The next we had ordered the advertised drinks that were the swirl lemonades I believe and we're told that the machine for those were out I asked the bartender if she could have just make them by hand now I've been in the food and beverage business for a long time and I can't imagine any drink that can't be made by hand but we were informed they just weren't as good that way so we decided to only have the waters that we had. We went on to order and several other items were not available. Our salads artived and we were then informed they were out of croutons. They Caesar salad which I've had here before had dressing that had an overpowering smell and taste of anchovies I'm not sure if it was old or just too much it been put in in preparing it. I am a very picky steak eater and I'm aware of that so I always order my steak specifically not medium medium rare I tell them I would like it to have a cool red center when my steak arrived it was definitely medium with a warm pink center. Not generally a big deal but with all the other issues it was just kind of frustrated in addition both of the potatoes that I had on my meal and the other people at our table also ordered a sweet potato were way way over cooked. I'm enclosing a picture of what we got cannot for rolls one of the big attractions of this place is how delicious they're bred normally is and being on a low-carb diet we don't do this very often but the roles might as well have been hockey pucks literally refer...

We had a great meal. Everything was absolutely delicious. The filet mignon was tender and juicy; absolutely mouthwatering. The bread speaks for itself. I could eat a couple dozen of those rolls. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

We gave our review 5 stars for the GREAT FOOD. It is well deserved.

However, a couple of areas with room for improvement:

One note to the kitchen manager: Keep an eye on product and rather than running out, send someone to the local grocery store for basic items. Customers don't want to hear "We are out of...", it wreaks of poor management & planning. We ordered a baked potato to go with our steak and had to hear the "We are out" routine. Simply so easily avoidable. Set yourself apart and don't let such mishaps take place under your watch. Rise above mediocrity.

Lastly, we've reached out to corporate, and we'll see if they properly address this issue, but...as an FYI: We signed up for the Logan's Rewards program tonight. You earn 1 point for every $1 spent. The welcome email unequivocally states "Every dollar you spend at Logan’s Roadhouse will earn you points." Yet, our $63.83 pre-tax bill only earned us 37 points. The other $27 was spent on alcoholic beverages, which apparently did NOT earn rewards points. If alcoholic beverages do NOT earn points, then spell that out up front and DO NOT claim, "Every dollar you spend at Logan’s Roadhouse will earn you points."

Great meal. Can't wait for the next visit to a Logan's Roadhouse.

Update:

Kudos to corporate for resolving the rewards points issue. They acknowledged ALL points should have been awarded. They have since added the missing points AND confirmed they've reached out to their IT folks to make sure this is resolved and does not happen again.

They've made a loyal customer out of us, on top of our existing fondness for...
