Captain D's — Restaurant in Abingdon

I went through the drive-thru, so the atmosphere doesn't apply,. The food was delicious, as it always is, but when I took a drink of my sweet tea, all I tasted afterwards was dish soap. I don't know if the container with the tea in it just hadn't been rinsed properly or what it was, but every bite I took after the first drink tasted like dish soap. It was the most nauseating thing ever. The first employee had forgotten to give me the drink and when I asked for it it took forever for them to come back to the window just to hand me a cup of ice, not my tea. So I waited for a while longer before a different employee finally came to the window and asked if I was just waiting for my tea. So I sat in the drive-thru for about 15 minutes before I finally received all of my order. That was the first time I have ever experienced anything like that, but I can say that I probably won't be eating at the Abingdon, VA Captain D's for a very long...

Tori and Selena are amazing in the front counter. They are always on point with everything that is needed for a customer. They always make sure the customers are okay and have exactly what is needed. Their cool looks bring in more a more comfortable vibe for the younger customers. They work their butts off for every single thing that need to be done. I love going into this restaurant especially when they are working. Because I know I will get excellent customer service. I never have a bad time when these two are working. As soon as someone comes in no matter what their doing they are always there right away. Ready to work and ready to strive for more greatness. These ladies are amazing and angelic. I ordered the fish and 12 shrimp with fries and slaw, when I got home and opened the container l tried the fries cause they looked so bad and they tasted like they were more than likely made yesterday evening. I called back to Captain D's and spoke with the manager he wasn't very helpful, he said I'll replace the fries cause he wasn't going to replace a half eaten meal and I told him the rest of the food hadn't been eaten and he replied I'll still replace the fries so I said I'll bring the food back and get my money back and he was very rude. I think that the restaurant should replace all of their employees and find people that have better attitudes. I took the food back and got the money back for because it was so bad.
