McDonald's — Restaurant in Abingdon

Wow never been quite as displeased with my dining experience at any other McDonald's as I did here. First and foremost, customer service was fine, quick to answer, placed order without difficulties and they were very polite. But that's the extent of my good remarks. The chicken deluxe sandwich was assembled with zero care or effort the lettuce and tomato were spent, should have been thrown out, wilted and bad. Devoid of mayonnaise and the chicken "patty" was smaller than a chicken tender. The two cheeseburgers that were ordered were drenched in ketchup. Literally every side of burger had ketchup pouring out of it, 7 onion nibs. 7... Few enough to count, a dash of mustard all 3 buns went through the toaster 4 times and were substantially burnt while the beef patties were luke warm at best, cheese placement...almost on the sandwich real close but not quite. Fries, they were cooked in old oil and the person frying them must have had little to no experience on a fryer. They were brown, undercooked, NO SALT AT ALL and ordered a large and the cartons weren't even full barely half. Also, no bagels? What is wrong with you corporate??? How dare you deprive the good people of Virginia of the entire bagel selection with the amazing butter sauce, a true travesty. From someone who reviews a lot of places and someone who has worked in the food and beverage industry, this place is lacking immensely on quality control. This used to be a great place to go! I ordered a double quarter plain no cheese. Once we all got our food we sat down in the play area to eat. There was cheese on the quarter. My husband takes it back to the front to tell them it was suppose to be no cheese. They told him they would remake it and bring it to us once it was done. Well they bring it out i open it up and guess what? After waiting over 7 minutes for a "fresh one" they brought back the same burger my husband took up there. How do i know this? Because they clearly tried and failed to scrape the cheese off. This time i take it back and wait instead of sitting down. They remake it. I go sit down and what do i get this time? The worst fast-food restaurant I ever encountered, from start to finish. The cashier at the drive through window where I paid $22.54 for a meal was stunningly arrogant and rude. And as for that meal, when I got home and opened the bag I found 1 regular french-fry container with 3 French French fries in it (intentional? maybe), no apple pies (I had ordered 2). And the Big Mac sandwich I had ordered? Well that wasn't there, either. Essentially, I was cheated. Really godawful. I know this review will not be read by management and nothing will come of it. But it feels damn good just to write it. Oh yea, I will never buy another meal there again even though I live only a mile away. Which MacDonald's, you ask?
