I was nearby and stopped to get donuts at Daryl’s pastries, googled Giulianos and was impressed with the reviews. I probably should have gotten a hoagie. I opted for the grilled cheese with cooper cheddar and Swiss. The woman at the front taking orders was alright. She was kind of standoffish and was way more friendly to the pregnant woman who came in after me. As far as the sandwich goes, the cheese was not melted and tasted almost like they grilled the bread and put the cheese on after. Trying to be fair with rating, but I was very disappointed. I would possibly go back to try a hoagie but only if I’m close by again and very hungry. $11.50 for that is a no go. That’s like a $8 sandwich when it’s good.

I like this spot, if I’m ever in the region I’ll definitely return here. A basic, no frills, establishment with good food for reasonable prices served hot and fast. Beer is available, music delivered by old hi fi in the corner slow swinging ceiling fans and black and white pictures of the town as it was on the walls. Everything in this place screams of a hoagie institution with a storied past. Heartily recommend for a good sandwich at a great price point.

This is a small deli but my Regular was amazing with Cooper, Genoa, and ham. The prices are awesome. 50 cents between the small and large hoagie. Looks great for catering too. Nowhere to really eat in but their large beer selection makes up for that. I would recommend stopping, if you are in the area.

This is the hardest type of review to write. One where I need to be honest and give all the praise that's due while also not wanting too many people to find out about this place for purely selfish reasons. But here we are and the 5 stars you see are absolutely deserved. Came to Guiliano's after seeing it and hearing tidbits about it for about year - my only regret is waiting so long to actually give them a try. They have, hands down, the best Italian hoagie in the area. They slice the meat for your sandwich right there while you wait. Perfect portions of meat/cheese/veggies/oil, etc. My wife ordered the chicken salad and loved that as well, but that Italian hoagie was life changing, mark my words. Beyond the food/sandwiches they have a large and really varied collection of beer that ranges from hyper-local (Bill's Best located half a block away) to international favorites and rarities. They have candy, they have soda, they have a full deli complete with salads and desserts. Can't think of a bad thing to say. As much as I'd love to make this place a "best kept secret" I think it (and the staff that runs the place) deserve some attention because they're doing a lot of things right. Go, eat,...

Giuliano's is always a great place to shop. I've bought beer and sausage here for several years, and it's still a favorite place to go, find interesting beers, maybe fill a growler, and have a good conversation with the guy behind the register.

Update: It's now owned by a friend, so we have stopped in to take out deli sandwiches for the first time. Today's Chicken Dumpling soup was excellent, my past two club sandwiches have been great—well, they don't cut them into quarters, so they're a lot to handle—and the chicken salad sandwich my wife had today was good enough, and big enough, to save half for tomorrow's lunch.

Their sandwiches are good enough that you may want to order by phone ahead of time: there can be a ten- or fifteen-minute wait at busy times.

Just had a really good Italian Stallion hoagie. So good!

Another update: amazing bread pudding, too And today's Tavern Ham Hoagie was great.

And yet another update: good help with buying beers, new employees, and just a great atmosphere...

Today was the first time my boyfriend and I ventured into the deli. The service was absolutely amazing!!!! The staff was very welcoming, engaging and personable. The shop was clean and tidy, there were a variety of beers available, and prices very reasonable.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia so I have experienced my fair share of hoagies but this deli hands down tops them all!!!! My boyfriend and I literally took our first bite of the hoagies and stopped to clap because the taste and freshness overwhelmed us. We will definitely be visiting this spot more regularly.

This type of experience is hard to come by these days. Great people, great prices and great food. We are beyond satisfied with our...
