This location does not seem to be very organized. I went on a Sunday at a time when they should have been fully staffed but they weren't. They did not have enough staff to allow mobile order drive thru pick up or curbside pick up. I'm handicapped and didn't want to have to unload my power chair and oxygen equipment just to fight with doors to go in and out just to grab my order. So, I had to use the drive thru window to place my order which I wanted to avoid because the line was long and very slow moving!
In hindsight, I should have used the app and wasted the 15 minutes unloading and reloading my mobility equipment. It would have been quicker, easier and, maybe, my order would have been correct. 🤷♀️
Simple order: Caniac Combo, substitute slaw for the toast and the drink was half unsweetened tea & half lemonade. For those not familiar with R.C., this is a completely normal order and these options are on the regular menu. Nothing in this order was special or unique to me.
Nevertheless, I had to repeat the substitution option two times more and the beverage option three times more as the cashier kept forgetting as he was ringing up my order. It was like it was the guy's first time working the register. I was patient but it was annoying. And, it helped explain why they were soooo slooooow.
Despite all that effort, he STILL got my drink order wrong! It was on the receipt correctly so I know it was on the computer screen correctly. But, instead of a half and half, I got all unsweetened tea. Unfortunately, I did not realize that till after I pulled away and I did not want to go wait in that long line again to get it fixed.
Most annoying parts are that 1) there's an upcharge for getting half lemonade, which I paid, and 2) I'm a diabetic and I wanted some sweetened lemonade in my drink because my sugar was dropping. Didn't get that!
If you tell them four times what you want to drink, and they ring it correctly, there shouldn't be a problem actually getting what you order.
When I got to the window to pick up my order, I asked for a Caniac Club Card (their name for a gift card). The girl at the window had no idea what I was talking about. The box with the cards was sitting right there but she had to ask the manager what I was talking about.
Clearly, this location is still training their staff and those trainees are not ready to be working on a busy weekend!
As for the food itself, it's nothing to write home about. They have a VERY limited menu (fingers, fries, toast, slaw and ONE sauce, that's it!) so I expected those limited options to be very good. They weren't. They were "okay." And, the chicken left my mouth feeling kind of lightly coated like the chicken was fried in crisco. I know it's not but that's what it felt like. It wasn't horrible but it was weird.
All in all, I wouldn't go out of my way to go to Raising Cane's but if I wanted chicken strips and Chick-Fil-A was closed, I...
Read moreThis is my favorite Canes location! At another Cane’s location sometimes the chicken would be a bit shiny inside, but at this one they cook it fully and it doesn’t have that. Everything tastes delicious! Upon arriving at Canes, I got to an empty booth and took a seat while the family was placing their order. (We are a Family of 3)This booth was clearly unoccupied. Another customer with her boyfriend (2 people) had come up to me claiming they were sitting there before. There was no sign of this. If customers are going to do this, one of them should have stayed seated or put a jacket or a cup on the table showing that the table is occupied! That was very rude and she was lucky I’m nice. We had a bigger group than her and it was looking like there would be nowhere to sit due to them taking our seat! (All the seating was filled up) Other than that customer, Canes did a great job! Thanks so much for the delicious food and...
Read moreI guess I'm not a fast food guy, but I will say the chicken; it's okay. I prefer to see on the fries, but everyone likes to go based on the chicken, so here's my go at it. I had the standard 3 finger combo. The fries were done well. They weren't soggy or too* crispy, but they weren't salty (possibly an unlucky batch). Now, the chicken; the initial chicken taste, is pretty good, and then it all goes downhill from there. Tried with the canes sause it's just overrated, not really worth the effort. OH, I remembered something that made this a 3/5 instead of 2/5 - the bread - the bread was phenomenal. That's one thing I remember greatly about the experience; I wanna find more of it. The service was great, it was my first time in such a quick environment, and the cashier helped me with the menu. In terms of service, great - in terms of good, there are definitely better options, but if you wanna try something new, no one's...
