Romans Pizza House: A Hidden Gem for Strombolis and Unique Pies
Romans Pizza House is an absolute treasure for anyone who appreciates quality pizza! Pretty sure they are currently the BEST AROUND! My workplace orders from them regularly, and they have never let us down. From their quick service to their always-fresh ingredients, everything about Romans keeps us coming back for more.
One standout menu item is their Drunken Chicken Parm Stromboli—easily one of my favorites. The perfect balance of tender chicken, melted cheese, and savory sauce wrapped in their golden dough makes it an absolute must-try. Every bite is packed with flavor, and it’s consistently amazing every time we order it. (Bonus points if you throw the leftovers in the oven the next day for an added crisp!)
But Romans doesn’t stop there. Their upside-down pie with pesto is another game changer. The pesto adds a bright, fresh twist that complements the cheesy goodness in a way that’s unforgettable. It’s a pizza that feels both classic and innovative, and I can’t get enough of it.
If you’re looking for a pizza place that consistently delivers high-quality, delicious food, look no further than Romans Pizza House. They’ve got something for everyone, and every item on their menu is crafted with care and attention to detail....
Read moreI hate to be that guy and leave a negative review. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad before getting on the train to head to Philadelphia (the train station being nearby), and upon opening my bag, I realized I had no napkins and no utensils.
I called to express my frustration - (I was pretty upset because I hadn’t eaten all day at that point, and now I had to sit on the train for an hour and 15 minutes (if not more) before I could even find a fork to eat a chicken Caesar salad with cold chicken.) But upon calling, The manager explained to me that utensils are provided “upon request.” And then proceed to give me gave me a $5 credit.
I just don’t understand how you’re providing utensils only upon request when people are ordering take out & you’re selling dinners. You don’t even provide napkins?! At the very least, your employees should be asking, “Do you need any utensils?” when taking orders over the phone.
I spent a total of $34. They could’ve at least offered the salad on the house. Definitely lost me as a customer. ———————— To management: maybe train your employees to ask if utensils are needed — or better yet, just provide them by default. If customers are ordering dinners or salads, I’m sure they’re expecting...
Read moreWe moved out of state a few years ago and when we were visiting this week, we tried Roman's for the first time!
Chicken francese is my favorite dish and it's really hard to find it done right out of state. The chicken francese I got on the first night (5/15) from Roman's was incredible. Literally the BEST I've ever had and I get it often, any chance I can. The pizza was perfect and garlic knots were delicious.
We quickly ordered Roman's again 2 nights later (5/17) and got the same thing. Unfortunately, this time the chicken francese was overwhelmingly salty. It was completely inedible, I gave the piece of chicken to my dog and had to toss the pasta. SO sad and disappointing! The pizza was still 100% on point though. I don't like to complain, so I didn't.
I wanted to try Roman's one last time to see if I could get that absolutely perfect chicken francese that I got on the first night. Unfortunately, on this third try (5/19), it just tasted like bland butter noodles. BUT the chicken parm/pizza and garlic knots were amazing, still.
Overall, great experience and great food. Staff were very nice every time we picked up. Just wish I could have gotten that perfect chicken francese experience more...
