Torres Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Ada

We stopped here for the first time in. They appear to be really short staffed. There was a long line of people waiting to pay out, and no one was at the register. One of the waiters came up and started taking payment but at the same time he called somebody else up to take us to our table. They have a very extensive menu page after page after page, we usually judge a restaurant by it salsa. The salsa was OK. It just needed to have a little more kick. The chips were light and crispy and fresh. I ordered the chili Relleno with a cheese enchilada with no rice. Darrell ordered the beef fajita enchiladas with beans and rice. I noticed that they had Agua Fresca they had Horchata. I wanted to taste of Horchata because I’ve had in recent experiences where it was horrible. This was fairly good. I think Darrell did not get fajita enchiladas. What came out was regular beef enchiladas which is made with hamburger meat. Mine was absolutely delicious. It was hot, very hot and very very fresh. We were there for a birthday dinner. There was 19 of us and we had no problem getting in but we were there early. They were very accommodating to our group. They kept the chips and salsa and drinks flowing while we waited for our dinners. The food was very good. I had the chorizo with white cheese on top of a chicken breast. They also catered to our kids who basically liked chicken nuggets. It looks like a small restaurant between Hibbett sporting goods and Big lots. But once you're inside there's plenty of tables. This place was AWFUL!! The sevice was chaotic; started slow in the being and a few minutes after we had been given our food we we handed the check. The food had NO seasoning what so ever not even salt and pepper. Eating the food was like swallowing gravel. The only reason my group finished our meal was because for the 3 of us it was almost $50. The taco and burrtio combo came with a burrito that was 1-inch wide and 3 inches long. The plate was 4/5 watery refired bean and dry rice. I do not reccomend eating at...
