Pigskins BBQ — Restaurant in Ada

Very disappointed in this experience. When I first get there no one greets me or even acknowledges my presence. Felt stupid just standing there so I seated myself and was still being ignored while making the attempt to flag someone over. Finally got up and went to the check out counter where I was finally asked if I had been helped. Made me feel disrespected. Placed an order off there little crumbled up piece of paper menu and was surprised on how quickly my food came out. Okra was cold, chopped brisket was warm in spots cold in others. The ribs fell off the bone but the outside was tough and dry. I’m not a chef but felt it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long while. Floors were dirty, the little napkin and sauce deals on the tables were flithy, the bbq sauce was so sweet I left feeling sick. I am all about the experience when going out to eat and the feeling that experience creates. I got here felt disrespected, ignored, unwanted and left feeling sick and disappointed. First time trying this place after hearing about it many times. Got the chopped brisket and hot links. The brisket had zero smoke flavor to the meat, it tasted like a bland roast more than anything. People I was with got sliced brisket and they said the same about theirs. The hot link was good and the others raved about the pork ribs. The water had a funky taste to it, which Santa Fe steak house next door also has so it just could be the water in this area. But the side of green beans had the same funkiness to them from the water they were cooked in. The service was ok, our main waitress seemed less than happy to be there. Bathrooms had enough grease on the floor that you slipped everywhere. So in conclusion, the food was ok, service was ok, BBQ sauce tasted identical to rib crib. Wouldn't seek this place out but if in town and rib crib is busy here you go. It is way better than Billy Simms and according to the people with me the pork ribs...

Went in ordered to-go. Based everything on that.

I ordered The Lineman or whichever one is a 3meat/2 sides. I also got a large ½&½ sweet tea.

The tea was warm (fresh brewed fine just extra watered down as the ice was essentially melted before I even left the restaurant. Food was very quickly made to order.

Coleslaw - bland no color no flavor Okra - beyond deepfried soggy & over cooked at the same time see picture for crush proof example! Chopped brisket - pretty sure this is 101 w/the smoked meat community and THIS ....idk how any awards were won, a $0.50 Dentymore microwave meal has a better flavor&texture Hot link - only redeeming selection because it's got enough heat to cover up the brisket. Pork ribs - fall off the bone got that part right...my piece of jerky was a bit lacking though...
