McDonald's — Restaurant in Addison Township

Has to be one if not the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. A couple of weeks ago, I came here and ordered a crispy southwest salad and they gave me some extremely old chicken in it that wasn’t even cooked all the way. When I brought the salad back I asked them to leave it on the counter while I waited for the other one. They made me wait for a new one and gave me the same salad and the same chicken but just cut it up more thinking I wouldn’t notice. Also, when I opened the salad, I put the top that had dressing on it under the salad, so when i took the salad out, I felt that dressing on the bottom. I had to go to another McDonald’s that I know is actually good and buy a crispy chicken which was made right at this one and I brought it back to this location. The manager still tried to argue that the one I brought isn’t the way it’s supposed to look even after I showed him a google image of it as well. I filled out the survey and corporate has yet to reach out. I got food poisoning because of the little bit I ate and I will soon be talking to my lawyer about this. I have multiple videos and will most likely file a civil lawsuit against them for this. Even the McDonald’s I bought the crispy chicken on the side from was disgusted when they saw what I was served.

So after coming to redeem my salads that I was promised from my last visit, the manager Johnny claimed that they don’t have any salads yet it was fine for me to order one before I mentioned that they owe me. Definitely will be...

A 1 STAR IS A BIT MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This McDonald's in Addison on Lake st, has always served HORRIBLE food. I thought that I would give them another chance on May 20, 2021; however I'm handicap and was on my 4 mile an hour scooter. I reviewed each of the doors with that BIG BLUE WHEELCHAIR STUCK ON WINDOWS; however, NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY nor HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE... WHY ARE THESE STICKERS ON THE DOORS AND I CAN'T GET IN ON MY OWN. So I drove through the drive through and when I got up to the window to pay for my meal, I was told that they couldn't serve me because I wasn't in a car in 80 degree weather on weighed down grocery bags on this 4 mile an hour scotter!! I ask "why when I couldn't get in" and I was having issues with by diabetes in a PANDEMIC! REALLY!!!! The manager offered to come to the door to let me in and I drove 😡, because what have they been doing all this time when customers couldn't come into the store during the PANDEMIC??? A good Samaritan saw my distress after esculating this issue to another manager outside checking supplies. I told the good Samaritan that they wouldn't serve me because I wasn't in a car. So she drove back through the drive through to purchase some food for me. THE FOOD THE GOOD SAMARITAN PURCHASED FOR ME WAS AWFULLY HORRIBLE AND A WAS OF TIME DURING LUNCH HOUR.....I WILL NEVER USE THIS MCDONALD'S EVER AGAIN! IT NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN IN MY OPINION! YOU ALL NEED TO BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR TREATING THE HANDICAP COMMUNITY...

NEGATIVE 100 Stars if possible!!! I sat in this drive-thru line for over 45 min to pick up a Door Dash order. There were only like 6 cars in front of me (which should have maybe meant a 5-10 min wait MAX). There is no reason this should have taken 40min, especially when the order had been placed an hour and a half earlier (its only 2 meals and some cookies). And when I got to the window I sat there for another 10 minutes only to have them tell me to pull into a spot and wait some more (where I am STILL waiting right now, going on 1 hour). During this time they had to ask me at least 5 times if it was an Uber order or Door Dash. This is a recurring issue at this location. Ive been here twice before and each time it has taken longer and longer. The first time was 25 min even there were only 3 cars ahead of me in line. NEVER COMING TO THIS MCD AGAIN. Whoever runs this location needs to make some SERIOUS CHANGES.

**UPDATE. As I finished this review, they supposedly closed up shop and put cones in the drive thru lane and turned off the screens. I tried knocking on the door. They ignored me. So after waiting for over an hour, they just didn't even bother to give me the food. They just left me sitting there. WOW....
