I called ahead to make a reservation and was told that starting at 6:00 PM, tables would be available and no reservation was needed. However, when we arrived, we had to wait 20 minutes just to be seated. A bit frustrating, but understandable on a holiday.
What was truly disappointing came next: once seated, we were told we couldn’t order any main dishes for at least an hour because the kitchen was overwhelmed, and that only appetizers were being served. This is the first restaurant in the U.S. where I’ve been told I can’t order a full meal at a restaurant.
While waiting, I noticed that other tables were already ordering food, so I pointed this out to the servers — their response was that only appetizers were allowed. What sense does that make? The lack of organization, the unreasonable wait times, and the poor management make this the worst place to go if you’re actually hungry.
We asked to speak to a manager to see if they could reduce the wait time, but after waiting a full hour, the service was still not available. When we requested to speak with the owner or someone in charge, the only answer we got was that they were “too busy.”
In the end, we paid for a few appetizers and drinks, but we never got to order a main course. After being at the restaurant for an hour and a half, they still weren’t serving full meals. A truly...

Read moreMy friend took me here to try some traditional Venezuelan food for the first time. Although very heavy, which fat boys like me crave... The arepitas fritas was a good starter. They have a lemonade called papelon, I could of have 10 glasses with this heat. Our entrees we're more of a family meal deal feeding 3 of us, it was too much food. I really liked their condiments, one was like salsa verde, and the one was like a light tartar sauce. We put these sauces on top of their meat, sausages, and deep fried plantains. Their cachapa con cohino frito, like deep fried pork was amazing as well. Gaby was our server and took great care of us. She was very attentive, eccentric, and humorous. She could kill you with her smile, 5 stars to the restaurant and her. We left full and content. Thank you for the great service and catering to our needs. Will be back in the...
