Viet Phở & Grill - Silver Spring — Restaurant in Adelphi

First Time visiting this location for lunch. I thought I had found a new pho spot for me and my coworkers. We arrived and we were the only ppl in the restaurant . We order our food. Normally I am very understanding of the wait time when it’s a busy atmosphere but today no one else was in the restaurant. It took almost 45 mins to receive out food, on top of that I was given the wrong pho. I asked the gentleman to kindly take it back and bring the correct pho. I also order a summer roll to go no shrimp. The gentleman brought the order with shrimp. I asked him to take it back and off my bill. I asked him to put my pho to go and bring the bill since I was on my lunch break and I needed to leave.He was just walking around as if he was confused and lost. He finally brought my to go items and bill. I notice that he never took off the summer roll. We spoke to a manager and she is going to proceed to tell me well I don’t know if you know he doesn’t speak English. If the server didn’t understand he should have asked for help from a colleague. It defeats the purpose to have someone taking orders and they don’t understand the customer. The service was just terrible over all. I will not...

Food is pretty good however id say there are more cons than pros. Any dish/soup you order ALWAYS has skimp toppings (literally a piece or two of the meat u desire on your entree) or they cut up the meats real fine so it looks like you got a "ok" amount. When you order bubble tea they decide whether or not they even want to make it. for example the server will always say they are out of something for the bubble tea but coincidentally when the owner is there you will always get it. As for refills on water takes approximately 10 min before someone decides to give you more water.

UPDATE: gave this place one more try.. truly dissatisfied. I took my mother in law and also my wife and son to eat here. We order our appetizers and 15 min later came out cold spring rolls that were not fully cooked. We asked them for a new order and it never came back out. Then once we got our soups they chnaged the brisket to a new one that is red even if cooked. I asked the server and he said the owner changed the meat and he acknowledged how nasty it looked. After all my family did not eat nothing and we left all the food right in the table. We will never be...

Usually, this place is my go-to spot, but after yesterday's fiasco, I unfortunately have to find another spot. I arrived there and was not greeted as I usually am. The server had me repeat my order 3 times (and still got my order wrong). During my visit, one customer was upset because he had been waiting for a while to get his food. Almost an hour, I believe. Another customer was waiting during her lunch break for her food, and by the time she received it, she couldn't eat it because she had to go back to work. This caused her and the server there to go back and forth, which ended in the server telling her she's not welcomed back to that location ever again. When my order came out, I got the wrong rolls, and I could hear the cook and the server arguing when he took it back. This resulted in him kinda laughing when bringing me out the correct rolls (picture provided). I couldn't even eat it because the shrimp was overcooked, and so were the rolls. Smh.
