I've been a regular at about three of your Starbucks locations over the past five or six years and the service has always been Great. Efficient Baristas who always impressed me with their ability to memorize the names and drinks of all us regulars....I was greater everyday by my name and the drink was made and on the counter before I even got through the busy line to pay..That being said, this location in Hillandale MD is by far the laziest Starbucks I've ever been to....there's always a long wait, either there's no one taking your order while you stand in line because the person standing around looking at the line has announced he's on his break(must take slot of breaks because I've never actually seen him work) or the person they do put on the register has to constantly step away to do others things in between ringing us out one at a time...Then the other day I watched someone I later found out was a manager(I'm completely Shocked) constantly move around and distract a Batista who was trying to (by herself I might add) get the drinks made for a line of us sho were waiting...this man took that inappropriate moment to decide to clean all around her work station in a very distracting way...while seeing us all standing there waiting....Not once did he offer to help her get the drinks made then when she asked him to either help her or let her finish without distraction he proceeded to call her off the station so he could talk to her in the back in what appeared by his tone was going to be some kind of reprimand....we were still waiting on our drinks.....Let me say this the young lady that he reprimanded is the ONLY REASON I continue to go back....Her name is Brandy and she is the BEST BATISTA they have....I've watched her great everyone that comes in with a smile every morning.....I've been going to this location for the past two years because it's convenient on my way in to work and before she started working there I always left feeling like they're all Slow and Lazy but Brandy us the ONLY ONE that has bothered to not only memorize my regular drink but also greats me by name EVERY time I come in and I've watched her do the same with each regular that cones in and she does it with a smile...meanwhile the same guy on register who acts like he was just hired yesterday yet had been there for at least a year rings me out almost every day and ask for my name and drink every time.....For a manager to be more concerned with tidying up the car area while an employee is already struggling to get the orders made and not once jump in to help her so you can get the customers cleared out is very rude to me....I was distracted and bothered by his actions but to then pull the person away in the middle of so you can talk to her when she voices her frustration (which she did in a very respectful tone considering the situation) If it weren't for Brandy I'd never go back..This location is the worse representative of a Starbucks location I've ever been to. She is their only saving grace...The rest of the staff including management are very lazy, unprofessional and very unconcerned about customer flow, or customer service in...

This place Is In the Center of The Shopping area near Safeway . As You walk in from the huge parking are You come in the doors You see a Huge Lobby area . Then against the far wall is the barista area with Great staff members who make the coffee and pastries and They have Mean Hot Chocolates during cold weather days . I Love the Chocolate Chunk Cookies and The Rum Cakes and Lemon Pound Cakes To Blueberry Muffins and all . It has free Wi Fi for people who use their Cell phones there . The Customer Service Is Amazing , very Cozy Family atmosphere . This is a place to kick back relax have coffee and pastries Or Hot Chocolate after a long day . I would Love a job there sometime as a Barista Cashier and ride for the Brand . I Love Starbucks for its Professional Customer Service and all . If you love this place as I do, This place is the one for you. So Please come and support this place it could use the business after the bad situations since the Covid Pandemic . Read moreSo today is 17 of August 2018. I went on a coffee run for my fellow officers. I had arrived at this Starbucks normally we get about 6 medium dark roasts between my officers and I. So I had a arrived about 8:30pm ask for the dark roast medium coffees when what I assume to be the African male behind the counter tells me that they just got done cleaning and they weren’t going to make more. The rather large young lady confirmed this statement. I was puzzled because I thought this establishment closes at 10pm or that’s what the it said on the front door. I had mentioned that they close at 10pm and I was told that the machine was already token down for the day. So I guess for 2hr 30min there was no roast at that establishment? I was upset that it just seem that me asking for coffee was an inconvenience to the workers. They rather be lazy then to make use of there time they get paid for, then to help bring money into the corporation they work for. I had to return on my turn to do the coffee run...
