If I could rate this establishment in the negatives it would have to dig its way out of a sinkhole of negative stars. The way the establishment treats the employeeâs is disturbing, inhumane, and passed as if nothing happens. The clothes on the racks are not cleaned before being put out to sell. The managers and higher echelon staff have mo regard for the floor workers. The cashiers go hours and hours standing. Wearing down their joints and feet just because the staff donât want to give off the impression of being âunprofessionalâ. To see a familiar employed worker is rare due to how often they quit because of the poor work environment. You may shop here on a sale day and think youâre getting an absolute steal. Youâll be astounded to see the store inflates the prices of the items instead. If you truly believe the âgreat parkingâ, ânever disappointedâ, âgreat pricesâ reviews youâll be in for quite the shock as you walk into the store and greeted by the stale air and the feeling of dread and despair that lofts around. Thats if you donât become too irritated with the traffic and the spaces of the parking lot and leave before entering. Value village in summary, is just not worth...
Read moreI'm not really one for large places. I avoid going into Costco and Burlington (Coat Factory - because it will always be that to me) at all costs. They are just too large and overwhelming. The same goes for Value Village, but sometimes it is worth it! I've been into large thrift stores in the past, but this Value Village is one of the largest I've been to.
I went here to drop off some items for donation, but back in April, I was looking for a globe. Didn't find one, because obviously some things are hit and miss. But that's the way it is for thrift stores. I do, however, wish that they were more organized. There were some sections where I was just wondering whether they just tossed stuff over racks or back in corners and left it because they didn't feel like organizing anything. But other than that, they have a decent selection of items to go through. Their disorganization is just too much and one of the things that overwhelms me when going into large stores like this. That is the reason I gave it 4/5 stars. Because their disorganization is ridiculous. Otherwise, check them out! You might find some nice...
Read moreThey have some really good prices for the stuff they sell and I enjoyed my purchases.
However, I donât think they thoroughly check their items to make sure it works since I have found several items broken and was disappointed because I wanted to buy them.
The staff in there is also very rude⌠and I donât mean this in a malicious way, but they either push or brush by you without saying excuse me or sorry. And when I apologized/said excused me they just stared me down. My aunt has also gotten racially profiled by a staff member that accused her of stealing when she simply wanted to look at the coat rack THEY placed near the exit. And while she was telling me this, the staff member felt implied to explain himself saying that he didnât mean to offend her but further insinuated that people stole all of the time, which is understandable but to an extent. Thereâs a difference between saying âMay I see your receipt/proof of purchaseâ and âAre you going to pay for those?â while said customer is still browsing. And it was only my aunt that got stopped.
Most likely will not come again if these issues...
