I was on the planning committee for our 50th high school reunion which we decided late in 2023 to hold at Hooligan's on August 16, 2024. During the planning phase, we worked frequently with Erika the owner. She helped us create custom meal and appetizer choices that included the choice of a chicken, beef or fish entree, unlimited soft drinks (like tea, coffee, soda, lemonade, water, etc.) and what turned out to be an extensive appetizer buffet (consisting of various cheeses, crackers, pita & tortilla chips, various fruit choices, brie, seasoned pickles, hot spinach dip and more) all for the same price. A great deal of time and effort went into planning our event and Erika made our job much easier with regard to coordinating the venue and meals. The meals themselves were reasonably priced and the banquet room (beautifully arranged for us by Hooligan's) was included at no extra charge, making this venue even more of a bargain for us. The night of our reunion, each classmate and guest entered a room that elicited many compliments for the way it was arranged, the look of the decor and the extensive appetizer / beverage buffet. We had approximately 62 people in attendance and at no time did anyone feel cramped or have any trouble walking about the room to reminisce with other classmates. Though the appetizers were self-serve from a buffet, the plated entrees were served by two amazing servers, Skye and Emily. Two people serving so many people meant that not everyone was going to receive their dinner simultaneously but I (and many others) felt these two polite and hardworking servers did a fabulous job in taking care of serving dinner efficiently while also taking orders for bar drinks and maintaining separate bar tabs for each person. Frankly I don't know how they did as well as they did and I commend them for excellent service (and commend the owner for hiring them). A third server (Jolie) helped Skye and Emily from time to time and was fully involved in cleaning up the room after we left. She too, was great to work with. I thought the dinner was very good, tasty and as promised. I had the fish entree. Most feedback was positive, especially with regard to taste and presentation (and the service of course) with a few noting the food was served cooler than expected. However the staff was willing to do whatever was needed to make things right and they did. Dirty plates, glasses and utensils were picked up promptly and every person was tended to frequently which allowed us to easily concentrate on why we were there - to reunite and reminisce with our fellow classmates. Hooligan's was integral in helping us pull off a very successful and enjoyable reunion. Thank you Erika for working with us (especially during the planning stages), providing a beautiful venue, decorating the room and even allowing us to borrow some of your equipment (like the wireless microphones). You and the staff taking care of us did an exceptional job and on behalf of the planing committee, we extend our sincere...

We went there last night, our second visit, our first was bad but we decided to give it another shot since Adrian is small and choices are limited. The first time we went, we sat at the bar. This was shortly after they opened. The owner stood right in front of us doing dishes in the bar sink. She did not even look up much less welcome us to her new restaurant. The food was mediocre at best, although they did accomadate my request for a turkey rueben instead of corned beef. Our second visit started with sitting at one of the high top tables. The first one we tried to sit at was so wobbly it had napkins and sugar packets under the legs to try to sturdy it which did no good. It was really bad, a drink spill waiting to happen. We then moved to another high top table which was almost as bad and also had items under the legs. We had to be careful the whole time sitting there so no one got spilled on. There were 5 of us and we all were having cocktails. We got our first round shortly after we sat down. We never got drink refills until half way through our meal. We were so thirsty eating without beverages we finally had to go hunt down our server and request more drinks. When our food came out one of the side dishes was wrong. Not that big of a deal really, but topped with everything else we experienced here, in hindsight it was just one more thing they do very poorly. The food was ok. Priced fairly. We like the atmosphere here, other than the pretentious owner who was paying more attention to the man she was with than making sure her restaurant is running well. When we were done we had to request our bills. That was at 7:13pm. At 7:51 our server finally showed up with our bills. Which were wrong and when pointed out she asked "how"? When I told her she said "sorry" and walked away. At one point while we were waiting for our bills we were told that their computer had frozen. After another several minutes one of the people we were with went up to our server who was working with the owner on the computer and asked how much longer as she needed to get going and the owner's reply was "I am working on it, you need to go sit down". Needless, to say, we will not be visiting Hooligan's again. I would NOT recommend this restaurant. It's really too bad to because it could be a really cool place with the right...

Today was my mom’s 75th birthday, and she chose this venue for dinner. Myself, husband, and mom had high expectations based on their menu we previously reviewed. Sadly, we were extremely disappointed.
We stood at the door/host stand without being greeted, for several minutes. Finally we were sat by a server that told us “Someone will be with you shortly… one of us… I don’t know if it’ll be me or someone else… we’re really busy with a party.” The party was a group seated closest to the entrance, of maybe 10-13 people and there was 1 other couple in the bar.
When we were asked if we were ready to order, we were interested in their crab cakes and/or crab stuffed mushrooms and asked our server where their crab was from. She didn’t know and came back from the kitchen with the answer, “Our crab is a half and half blend of crab and “krab.”” So, the menu says specifically their crab cakes are “homemade and made with real crab”… but we’re just going to lie. Ok.
My mom ordered the beef tips, I ordered a French dip, and husband ordered a Reuben. The side salads we got with our meals were the best part of dinner. Our food arrived cold and we immediately informed our server. She took all of our meals to the kitchen, and arrived a few minutes later with the same food, on “be careful these are very hot” plates. They obviously microwaved our dinners which caused my sandwich to fall apart as soon as I picked it up. The prime rib turned dry and bun was so soggy, my meal would have had to be eaten with a fork. I sent the food back and turned down the option for them to remake my sandwich the 3rd time.
No genuine apology was offered, and my sandwich was taken off the bill… thanks, considering it was inedible. Just another restaurant with untrained staff and zero management.
And to add… I just read the previous reviews and wish I had done so before dining here… based on the “Owner’s” responses, he/she has zero accountability for their staff and/or business, and offers zero apology or a way to make it right. Save yourself the money and make a home cooked meal.
