One of the worst customer service incidents I've ever experienced. You order at the counter and I was finishing up my order, swiped my credit card, and put a $5 bill into the tip jar onto a ~$30 order. In my opinion a totally reasonable tip, especially given that it's not a service restaurant and I already knew from previous experience that they have a weird habit here of bringing your drink significantly later than your food comes out...(even though the drinks are just juice scooped into a cup)...but hey, no big deal, it's a family operated place and the food is good, I accept quirks! Anyway back to the incident! I throw my $5 in tip jar in a very obvious way...I always tip cash and i want people to know they are being taken care of...but as I finish my transaction on the screen by pushing the "no tip" button...the cashier lady immediately grabs the tip jar and starts shaking it in my face, as if I hadn't tipped and she's scolding me! I was in such disbelief that I didn't say anything (I'm normally very outspoken and not shy about defending myself)...I felt like it would basically be stupid to correct her, be cause if she couldn't see me put money in front of her face, why would she believe me trying to correct her? Then I thought, is she implying I didn't tip enough? But as I already explained, I was tipping equivalent of at least 15% for a non-service experience. So I really feel like she went momentarily blind and thought i stiffed her! And at this point there was nothing I could say, because the jar was already full of other random cash and mine just mixed right in. After that our drinks came out even way later than normal late, she was 100% delaying bringing them out of spite. Food is great here and I used to recommend it, but after this unfortunate incident I can no longer...

When this location stopped being Cecil Whittakers pizza, I fell into a deep dark depression. The days were filled with sadness. But, along came a hero. The bright light of Tacos pulled me from the pit of dispair.

The only equal to pizza is Tacos, and this location on Gravois and Weber must be magical. Because the best st louis style pizza has been replaced with the best Tacos.

The quesadillas are awesome, well seasoned chicken and cheese, with fantastic fried texture. The shrimp tacos are phenomenal, and you can tell the shrimp isn't stored with other fish products (doesn't have the fishy tast of other local taco spots). The crown jewel in my humble chubby fat kid opinion. Is the birria tacos. They are the best I've had, and I've lived all over texas and California. I've done both dine in and carry out, and both had great results.

The folks at Tacos Wey are very friendly, deeply rooted in the local Affton community, and you can taste the difference. If Danny Trejo was standing in front of me with a machete and said I had to name the best tacos around, knowing full well he is a taco supplier himself, I would bring him Birria from Tacos Wey and he would undoubtedly retire.

Please don't pass up this gem of an establishment. Give them all your money so they are here for a long long time and I can walk here for...

I go to pick up food like every Friday night , and give tip on pick up . Stand in there for good 30 minutes after time they said to come . They been calling orders after me , mind you I was ordered number 42 and they call 43 ,44,45,49 and when I asked what’s happening his answer was —SORRY ,BUSY !!!!!! Like I was all the way in the back of this orders even my order was NUMBER 42 . So they may forget about my money from now on . There are places that respect customers. SORRY ,BUSY CAN STAY IN THEIR PLACE………..Because owner responded to my review, to add some things . I am so sorry but I was standing there for good 25-30 minutes and seen all of 10 orders and you called 40,41 than went to 43,44,45,49 and it was when I asked about my order you said sorry you are busy . I don’t mean to be ignorant but you disrespect me as a customer standing there for 30 minutes waiting on my order after promised time . And still you are trying to tell me you were busy and you have a system . What is that system ??????? I am just one customer and that’s ok but there are plenty of other restaurants in my neighborhood, I was coming every week but from now on I will drive little further and get food from somewhere where they will respect me as a...

What a cool little taco spot in Affton! We’ve driven past this place many times, on the corner of Weber, but we finally went in for lunch on a Saturday right when they opened. We were greeted by a friendly employee who explained to us the menu and all of what is popular. We ordered Street Wey tacos (El pastor), Quesabirria tacos, Gringo way tacos (grilled chicken), chips and guac and bottle water. All cost $33 total, a pretty good deal. Inside seating has plenty of spots if you’re not taking it to go. The inside decor is themed with Hispanic music playing. The one thing we loved about this place was how clean it was. There was not a spot of dirt anywhere. Their attention to detail was awesome. Everything is made fresh, but it look less than 10 minutes for us to get our food. The food is super fresh, and very good. The tacos are very flavorful. My favorite was probably the Gringo way taco (grilled chicken) that was piled high with tons of toppings. The chips and guac was super fresh, and we also had some of the mild sauce. We will be back for sure. The service, the space was clean, and the food was very tasty. What a little cool spot in South County, check it out if you can.

Updated 11/5/2022 The music was bumping and the food was flying out of the kitchen. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. I ordered the Torta and it was great! The team has really hit their groove and sorted out any opening day hiccups. Give this place a shot! 11/3/2022 This place has a ton of potential! This was only their 2nd day open. They need time to learn their point of sale software and get their expediting procedures down. The food was good and could even one day be great. I have high hopes. I will try them again once they have gotten over the opening week struggles. I recommend you go when you have time because wait time is up there right now. This could change in the next few days as they smoot out the wrinkles. Get salsa with your order, they were tasty, both the green and the red. The red was spicy in a great way. Parking is tight and indoor seating is limited.

The birria is to die for. Food is superb and tastes fresh across the menu, it’s hard to recommend a better taco place in the area (certainly tastier and more authentic than Fuzzys). Prices are a little high but you get a massive amount of food so it’s like paying for a meal and a half. However, the parking lot and restaurant itself are very very small and it can be quite difficult to get in and out when they are crowded (which is always). There is no good place to wait inside for your order so it’s also hard to find a table to sit down at. The food can take a little long but it’s absolutely worth the wait and always comes out hot. Only thing I wouldn’t recommend are the “dorinachos” or the loaded fries, they are tasty but turn into a soggy mess within minutes.
