(Posting for my dad) Me, my Wife, Daughter-in-law and 4 year old Grandson just got home from the North Augusta South Carolina Captain âDsâ. we ate and were about to leave when my Grandson needed to go to the bathroom. I was walking with him when a kitchen employee came out of the kitchen and walked ahead of us into the bathroom. There were 2 stalls and he was standing in an open stall peeing. The bathroom was very dirty. I put paper towels on the toilet seat in the other stall for my grandson. The employee left the bathroom without washing his hands and went back into the kitchen. I noticed but wasnât gonna say anything and definitely will not be going back there. When I got back to the table and we were about to leave when my Wife asked did they charge us for the 2 pieces of pie we ordered but hadnât been given so I took the ticket up to the counter. after seeing the employee not wash his hands I decided I should ask for a refund because that guy might be the one that cuts the pie. I didnât want to bring it up about the employee but the lady at the counter said I couldnât get a refund. I asked if she really wanted me to tell her the reason I couldnât accept the pie that wasnât brought out on the tray with our food. So I told her about the kitchen worker leaving the bathroom without washing his hands and other customers overheard which made her want me to leave probably so more people didnât hear. The money isnât the issue itâs just her saying oh thereâs a sink in kitchen that he uses to wash hands after using the bathroom. He had to use his filthy hands to open the bathroom door to leave and also to open the kitchen door to go back into. She acted like it was nothing And said she couldnât do a refund and if I wanted one so would have to come back tomorrow and the day manager could do it. I asked her to call the police and I waited for them to let them know what exactly was going on. They said they get it to and like I said we were leaving but wanted to wait and tell the police the reason that started the drama. Not sure how the rating system gives a place like this 3 stars but if they are honest and would have been there tonight the rating would have been a lot lower.    Read moreAbout Captain D's location off Edgefield Rd in North Augusta, SC: One of worst experiences in fast food ever! I went 45min through a drive through, and still had to go in for missing meals for another 20 minutes. After that, the food was still wrong!!!!
In the drive thru wait, I told my son that if someone is that rude, angry and have that much attitude, they need to leave there and work someone else! Also some times people are so unprofessional, unkind and out right nasty to others just because they actually have to "work and earn" money for a living!
When I went inside to get missing food, it was even worse. All employees were the worst ever in customer service, including the cooks in the back. The head cook was degrading to the females in front. He even went as far to say, " I want you to do, what I tell you to do!"
They all yelled, disrespected, and argued with each other so much out in the open that even other people who were sitting inside to eat, got up from their meals to tell them to stop it and how much they ruined their meal by listening to them.
The kicker is, they actually said all the same things I was telling my son in the car. You know it's bad when two people who never even laid eyes on each other say the very same things about the employees!!!
To the manager of this Captain D's, I sure hope you haven't been the role model to support this kind of behavior and act this way yourself! If so, you need to go too!! If not, you got to Clean House!!!!!
To the regional manager, same goes for you! Plus, you need to do more drop in visits and be more aggressive setting the appropriate and positive culture for the work place.

Per Google, this location is NOT supposed to be closed until 10 PM on Saturday nights! I arrive there around 9:20, sit in line for nearly 10 min, finally move up to the speaker and sit 10 more min, and nobody ever came take my order (so I'm guessing the previous cars drove off)!!! I circle the building and see one lady in there cleaning. Inexcusable!
If there are a lack of workers available to take customer's orders during a timeslot you all are SUPPOSED to be opened, then you need to instruct those workers to have signs/communications posted notifying us paying customers of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you all are NOT opened until 10, then you all need to ensure this is updated on your Google search/info!!!!!
I wasted over half an hr (as well as gas) on getting fresh, piping hot fish and now see that that will not be happening! Who is going to be held accountable for this and rectify the situation? I don't know who needs to correct this but something needs to be done asap!!!!!!!!
In the meantime, I will work feversishly in ensuring no customers in the area pay this location any visit during the daytime hours and will be submitting a few inquiries into the BBB. This is 110% unacceptable and the managers need to be held fully accountable!!
