I hate leaving any Negative reviews, but I must, for the benefit of the owner and any potential customer to read. I own a NY Pizzeria in NC and know Italian foods ( Pizzas, Stromboli, Calzones, pastas ,sauces, and Subs) and was really disappointed with my 2nd visit. You see, I just moved to Aiken and I came in last week for a sub and a side of meatballs and really liked the bread they used on the sub and inquired who their food supplier was and was told the company they use, so I ate the meatball and half the sub and they were both good, better than average.so.......I decided to come back with my wife and try a pizza tonight along with a sub. Big Mistake.....the pizza was like something you would buy at Kroger and cook in your oven and the ingredients were wrong ( when I mentioned it to the waiter she said the computer screen did not show that ingredient so it added another.....I said you could have asked me and she was like....oh sorry. The sub was not anything like my 1st visit and I don't know how that can be since they both were the same type. Anyway, I hope they get some things together and find some people who know how to make Italian foods. So, I still find myself still in search for a GOOD , not great ,place to eat a pizza and some real...
Read moreWorst place we been to in a while. Just stopped by to grab some pizza. Placed order at 6:05. Hubby went into pay at 6:40 and pizza wasn’t done. The guys in the back thought it was funny to put the pizza on the back ovens on the top and make him wait longer. At 6:50 he decided to ask about our pizza and it was just sitting there. And yes my hubby did notice you guys were messing with him. They knew what they were doing. Childish games are ridiculous. We think it was because he didn’t tip for him to come pick up pizza?? We don’t live there but travel sometimes to Aiken. We didn’t want to stay and eat so we got take out. The pizza was awful. It wasn’t like the pictures I seen in the post from others. Paid $35 for pizza/ for us and our son to have an upset tummy and going to the bathroom a couple times. Not sure if they did something to the pizza, but left overs were thrown out and not much eaten. I’m very upset about the service...
Read moreNew Aiken resident looking for highly rated, quick meal with my family of (4), including toddler & infant. Online, Fernando’s pizzeria seemed to fit the bill.
Went there Sunday at noon and there was no more than 6-other tables occupied, so it looked light. However we soon observed only (1) waitresses and (1) restroom stall for all customers & staff.
It became clear the single, young waitress was overwhelmed as other patrons were waiting long periods to be served, tables weren’t being bussed & cooks were coming out of the kitchen to help her.
Lastly, our family was melting down waiting inside an unusually hot restaurant with flies attacking us. We ordered (1) large margaritas pizza & it took 45-1 hr to receive. By that point our family was miserable, ate as fast as possible (good pizza), paid and left as fast as we could.
Not saying it’s a bad place to eat, however we will never, ever “dine-in”...
