My wife and I really enjoy authentic and inexpensive food experiences and feel fortunate to have stumbled upon this unpretentious cantina at the rear of a Latina grocery. Proprietors Ernesto and Maura have been catering to our weekly fix for ethnic flavor and have come to appreciate for the consistency of these simple and very affordable meals. I usually order the #1 Taco plate with rice and beans and ask for a chorizo and carnitas mix adding the fiery Pico de Gallo and a mess of sautéed onions and jalapeños. I thoroughly enjoy the Fried Tilapia platter, Tamales & Pupusas (a thinly fried cornmeal tortilla filled with beef or pork). There are usually specials Friday and Saturdays including the Pollo Mole offered last week--Yum! What a waste of $20. It was disgusting! And the taquitos are just delimex Taquitos that you can buy at the grocery store. The beans were weird and tasted bad, the rice was weird and tasted bad as well. The rice looked like yellow Chinese food rice.
