Odell Weeks Activity Center — Attraction in Aiken County

Odell Weeks Activity Center is a real gem in Aiken, South Carolina. Whether you’re into fitness, family time, or just enjoying the outdoors, there’s something for everyone here. One of our favorite things about Odell Weeks is how versatile the space is. The mile-long track that loops through the park is perfect for walking, running, or in our case—rollerblading. It’s smooth, well-maintained, and surrounded by trees and open areas, which makes every lap feel refreshing rather than repetitive.

The playground is another highlight, especially if you have kids. It’s clean, safe, and well-equipped with plenty of features to keep children entertained. It’s also right near the track, so it’s easy to keep an eye on the kids while getting in some laps. On weekends, the playground has a steady buzz of energy without ever feeling too crowded.

Inside the rec center, there are tons of activities and classes for all ages, plus a gym and sports courts. Whether you’re looking for a spot to be active or just a peaceful place to unwind, Odell Weeks offers a little bit of everything. Please post a large to medium sign outside main doors for location of public restrooms. That would help visitors alot. Thank you and keep up the great work and keeping this place sufficient, safe and clean. I went inside for the 1st time a few weeks ago and I will say this place is rarely used on the inside, only to say because this area has a history of violence in the area. I get it, but hard working tax payers shouldnt have to suffer. Upgrade your security system and get the public safety officers on site during open hours. I mean that's what they're there for.

Beautiful gyms inside and fitness roo is the truth. Great starter gym. They do have a 40+ basketball club on Tuesdays and Thursdays but I wonder why theirs no free play anymore? 🤔hmmm. Seems like pickleball is all the do inside. How about promote checkers or chess tournaments.

Its always a great time at O'Dell Weeks Activity Center from exercising to watch your kids play on the playground there's always something to do there. You can always catch a pick up a game on the basketball courts or run your tail off on the tennis courts so muchto do its hard to name them all.
