Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Akron

Round TWO (202405): MUCH BETTER. Also got a salad - quality (see photo) - highly recommend grabbing a salad - and they DID NOT CUT THE PIE - thank you. Star rating revised. ..Round One... I ordered through the App (you know - saves them time - and like too many - they SHOVE a tip down your throat)... I had but ONE request - DO NOT CUT... Arrived 2 minutes before the designated (future) pickup time - and sat and watched them sauce two or three more pies - awhile watching my two in the window ready to go- 15 min drive, so I do not disturb the pies - only to get home and find they were DTW cut... I DID LEAV E A TIP - and for what - to have you cut when I requested not too, and to have them sit there and have me watch then so you can put sauce on a few more pies... I will give you 1 more chance - but if following instructions and actually offering customer service don't find their way into your store - the next review will take...

Hadn't had a Donato's pizza for quite some time and it will be quite some time before I have another. As mediocre as it gets. All around. I remember Donato's as being flavorful with a crispy almost buttery crust. This was as bland and soggy as it could be. Had a piece cold, this morning and it was even worse. Heated up another when I got home from work and tossed it. Even tipped the kitchen and the kid couldn't even say thank you for your business... I gotta blame poor management. Although, with the way businesses are run nowadays, maybe corporate just went cheap...

Delivery, three items ordered, a pizza, salad and sub. Two items delivered. Maybe others find chilled pizza, like cold coffee refreshing, I suppose I don’t get the allure.

If this was a one off it could be excused, but it’s not. The one off would be a correct order. Their app rarely works, the website has more bugs than an Amazonian jungle. I stopped using them out of frustration a year ago but thought I’d give them another chance, no more.
