Jamaican Jerk Center — Restaurant in Akron

These guys didn’t take long to give me service. They took my order with ease and gave me hot food. I spent around $75 to feed 4 and we enjoyed our food very much. They have vegan options and colas there too. Tender meat, well seasoned food, veggies and rice. There wasn’t anything hard to chew, it wasn’t salty and wasn’t too spicy. When I have to cater, I’ll definitely use them. Please appeared to be clean but I didn’t see the bathroom. I can’t find anything to complain about. They put all essentials in the bag and there wasn’t juice spilled inside of my bags either. He made callaloo just for me so I waited a few extra minutes for that. I’m big at complaining because I’m a cook as well but I can’t find anything to complain about here. They had nice music playing, very Caribbean feel inside. Love their food absolutely NO complaints about the food but the service I got this time was absolutely just too unprofessional. I live 25 mins away and was coming prior to a hair appt. He told me my food would be ready in 20 mins, I arrive and he lets me know they ran out and it would be an additional 25-30 min wait which means my order was never made to begin with. Tallmadge is not an empty road, with all the schools and business I was late to my hair appointment and didn’t end up being able to get anything to eat. I would just say be considerate of other people’s time because I wasted time coming just to not get any food and late to an appointment. Tried to call to express disappointment but no one answered. If I could give a negative star review I would. I waited 1 hr for some food. They had nothing at all, when I mean nothing I mean no soda no sides they only had CABBAGE AND RICE how is this a Jamaican place with no Jamaican food. people came in after us and got their food before us. I mean I understand being busy but they should have made a disclaimer……. I don’t even like doing this but this is outrageous I am flabbergasted!!!!!!. I can not believe this at all had the nerve to smile in my face and tell me it will be 25 minutes 1,500 seconds……….
