Interesting place; we didn’t get a chance to really experience the place since we came in probably 40 minutes before kitchen close after moving to town and seeing that it was one of the few places open late still.
Me and the boys grabbed some brews and it was a mixed bag of reviews honestly. There wasn’t really any thing that we truly cared for. We’re not heavy IPA drinkers, and it looked like that is what was currently on rotation with some cider that tasted kind of like orange/fruit juice that was just bitter, not actually sour.
However; we can’t fault them on the craft rotation as it wasn’t to our personal taste preferences. BUT what we can fault them on is the weird batter that they were using for the mozzarella sticks. Coming from across the Midwest, without trying to be rude; these were the weakest sticks any of us have had in the last 5 years.
There just wasn’t any flavoring, it was like eating something just to get to the cheese. So the batter could use some work, but they were just dull overall.
The wild inside out burger was kinda interesting too, but still an okay choice.
Friendly staff and it looked like a cool atmosphere had we been during peak hours.
Reply: Yes, it is in fact for the location in Akron,...
Read moreA coworker arranged for us to meet here after work. We have been to many of the local breweries, but this one just doesn’t have the curb appeal of the others, so we have driven around and past it many times in the past. MISTAKE!!! The drinks were great, the food was great, the atmosphere was not bad. The only thing that I can ding them for is that the bar is just one step shy of Self-Serve, yet the bartender couldn’t wait to push the Toast register around to me for a “couple of questions”.(The awkward tip portion) I had to walk to the bar to place your order. I had to QR Code the drink and food menus. I had to carry my own drink/drinks to the table. Then one is forced to press “custom tip” to leave less than 18%. The originally idea behind typing was to reward great service. I’m not sure that anyone even knows what great service is anymore. Sorry, I ranted a little bit, but that’s America in 2023.
Overall, this a great place that you should try out. …a thought Rather than tipping, sometimes we should get the option of feeding a homeless person. Tipping 25% on a bill is literally adding another dinner and drinks to your 3 person bill. Nowadays that’s every meal, including breakfast and...
Read moreWish I could leave 0 stars. The bartender Chrissy had the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I’ve worked as a bar manager for years and would have never employed someone like this at my establishment. My elderly grandfather and I went to order for our group of eight. He had a stroke 2 years ago, so he is a slow in his speech. He didn’t understand how it worked and was asking her to take a list he made of the beer. She wouldn’t even acknowledge him without saying “tab” “tab” “I need a tab.” He started to say, slowly, “you need a card” ?l” but before he could finish she talked over him, “ you need uhh, you need uhhh TAB” Seriously?! I am absolutely disgusted that is how you treat an elderly person with medical issues. Never ever ever will go to this place again. Poorly run. Not to mention the food and beer were...
