I purchased a regular waffle cone with butter pecan ice cream. The waffle cone was so thin it was a race against time eating it because the ice cream was oozing from the outside of the entire cone. Thank God I asked for more napkins because it was a mess. The texture that should be outside of waffle cones were not there. It was like they are attempting to stretch the waffle batter/mix to save money. I’m a regular at Bruster’s but this was my first time trying the Chantilly location. It was horrible. Read moreWas laughed at several times because we thought they had a few flavors mentioned on their website. Turns out they really don’t have any of the ones mentioned on their site. The peanut butter crunch was good! The blast my boyfriend had on the other hand was very bland and milky.
Gave them a second chance just to receive a hair on the inside of my waffle bowl cover. Informed the lady working of the hair. Instead of fixing new ice cream she took the lid off and placed a new one on and handed it back to me. My mouth fell open. Read moreI honestly feel sorry for Montgomery residents that have to experience Bruster’s now versus what it was under previous management. From portion sizes to extra topping charges is a truly atrocious example of price gauging. I ordered a kid’s sundae and because of two extra toppings the price went from $3.52 to $6.38. And the old woman tried to make this price difference seem acceptable. It is not. I live in Orlando and go to a local popular ice cream shop and even their extra toppings are only $0.50.
This new management is getting over on the lack of competition in the area and Montgomery residents are being cheated...
