Taco Bell — Restaurant in Alabaster

The drive-thru cashiers were friendly, but they had no idea what they were doing. I ordered a new drink that was still on the menu, and instead of letting me know it wasn’t available, the cashier kept asking me questions about it as if I worked there.

When I got home, my tacos, crunch wrap, and Mexican pizza had almost no meat, literally nothing inside, even though I had paid for extra. I went back to complain, and one employee admitted it was made wrong and offered to have it remade. But then the manager (Kobe or Cody) came out and told me he wouldn’t remake it because he claimed he made it himself and “knew it was right.” After throwing away my food to wait for a replacement, he refused to remake or refund it.

Later, when I called, he went into a long story about their sales numbers and how people “try to work the system” and basically accused me of being dishonest. He eventually said he could remake it if I came back, but only if I “felt passionate about it.” That is not how you treat paying customers.

This location clearly has serious management and quality control issues. Being nice at the window doesn’t mean much when the food is inedible, employees are untrained, and the manager is unprofessional...

I placed an order for a quesadilla, add a large Coke. I see on the screen, they put it as a water instead of a coke. I get up to the window and they hand me an empty cup confused. I asked them what the cup was for. They asked me what my order was. I said it was for a quesadilla and a large Coke, they then inform me that they're out of large cups and a second lady comes up to the window and says all free drinks are medium cups, I said, okay, well, I'll take a medium drink, then then she turns around and tells me, oh well, I'll have to charge it for that cup. They had no idea what they were talking about and they had no idea what...

We ordered online for in store pickup. The store was understaffed for 12pm on Saturday and the service was very slow. The Crunch wrap supreme was basically lettuce, cheese and tomato with scarcely any meat, it basically vegetarian. Several of the tacos were the same very little meat so that it tasted like a veggie taco. The quality of the food offerings was poor due to the lack of meat leaving the food bland.
