Lickin Good Donuts — Restaurant in Alabaster

Their donuts are great and their coffee is solid too.

However…

The WiFi password needs to be prominently displayed and actually work.

They have what appears to be some awesome light fixtures but instead they CHOOSE to use the fluorescent bulbs only.

It is quiet as a mouse in there. Meaning, if you have to make a phone call, everyone can here your conversation. Maybe get some music going. Any Chillhop or Lofi station on YouTube would be perfect.

They have a patio but no outdoor seating (at least it didn’t look like it when I quickly glanced through the glass door.)

There are only two outlets in the whole place and only one of those is near a table.

There’s no couch and coffee table, only seats and regular tables.

Lastly, the sign needs to be closer to the road.

This place could be an AMAZING local destination if only some simple changes were made....

I stopped in today for a couple apple fritters. I’m a fritter connoisseur, so I look for the best. Upon entering I was promptly greeted by a masked employee. The inside is very clean and provides ample seating for dining in. I did like how the menu is huge and easy to read! This location only has apple flavor. My initial observation was they appeared rather small and flat. I did notice a few random chunks of apple, which is really icing on the cake. After biting into these. They were tasty and soft but not the best in my humble opinion. I prefer fritters from Shipley Donuts in Hoover. Shipley’s is bigger, more tasty and cheaper. They also give a discount for veterans. went for a mommy meet up with some friends and family to let our toddlers have donuts and visit each other , i ordered a chocolate milk , my 8 yr old took a drink it was spoiled , i even sipped to make sure , she gave me a 2nd one and it was spoiled too , then acted like it was just my son and said i just got that off a truck this morning, my husband works for a food company and just because it came off a truck this norning dont mean its not spoiled. the lady had a attitude and was rude so i dont believe ill be going back here ! No one wants spoiled...
