I'm probably opening myself up for criticism, but I wish to voice my concerns nonetheless.
I am disturbed by how disgusting the staff is. Most I suppose are okay, but I have seen servers use the empty trays like a megaphones by holding them up against the skin of the faces with their hair falling into the trays to yell entrée refill orders, I’ve seen cashiers who touch money all day touching the food or sticking their thumbs/fingers into the food when picking up or moving the trays to “check” the orders, people sneezing then wiping their nose or playing with the hair or face then picking up trays with their thumbs/fingers in where the food goes, etc… Mock me for being a “germaphobe” or “clean freak” if it’ll make you feel better, but it’s disgusting to think I’m eating the germs from somebody’s money, their drippy nose, their cold they’re hiding because they can’t miss a day, their dandruff, their makeup, and who knows what else. I wash my hands before I eat at the very least. If that makes me unreliable or "not normal" then I think humanity has messed up standards.
I’ve also had poor experiences with mostly vegetables and next to no meats in servings as well as being skimped on entrée because I got a double order. It’s a double order. Not a one and a third order. This location likes to cut their servings in half if it’s a few hours before closing time or if they’re running out of an entrée. I suggest if you want a proper portion to look at the choices and choose a dish that has the largest quantity when you get up to the counter to order.
While I mentioned the serving size/proportions as a problem, it’s not nearly as big a concern as the gross factor of seeing money handlers handling food or food handlers putting trays to the faces or handling their faces, ears, scalps, etc. If greater attention is paid to not sticking thumbs/fingers in trays where food goes (it is possible to pick them up without jamming your thumb into the food in the tray) and cashiers not touching foods before their properly packaged it would be amazing. Maybe gloves? People tend to remember if they’re wearing gloves. I liked Panda Express food, but I can’t stomach it after knowing people’s grossness is in the food I was looking forward to. I won’t go back for a long time. Maybe it’ll get better.
That’s my opinion. Oh, and the times I politely asked for a different tray because they put it to their face or put their hands flat inside the tray I got mocked behind my back (I'm not deaf or stupid) and attitude for implying they're filthy. Read moreInconsistency with some of the meats especially shang hai angus steak- When the girl is cooking it , its always taste and look burnt but when the tall dark Spanish guy is cooking its always good along with all the other meats. The staff needs to be more attentive as my staff and I frequent 2-3 times a week for lunch. Sometimes customers are left standing there and no staff even greets to acknowledge someone will be with them, from what I am observing when I am dining in. I also notice an Asian gentlemen maybe a manager but he seems to be more attentive to customers. Their is also a small skinny Spanish lady that seems to be a manager as well, she is a hit or miss depending on the day but i was standing in line one day along with other customers, and it must have been her family but looked to be her husband and son cutting in line to refill there plates with more food, understandable but customers in line need to be taken care of first before anything else. I think some of the cooks need more training and staff need to be more attentive to guest if they know they cannot take care of them right away. Just a suggestion!
Update 1/18/18 went there again 3:30pm no meats available atleast 5 of them were empty. No teriyaki only one half piece-no shrimp- one scoop of veggies which was all broccoli which i got- 1/2 scoop of 8 treasure- I askedif they were making more and she just put the half scoop in and moved on. The girl cashier girl could tell there wasn't a lot of food inside the container and was whispering to the girl that put the food into the container, The cashier girl was like whats this meat...thats how little it was she couldnt tell what meat it was. The girl told her its 8 treausre. The Tall dark cook was there today in a black shirt. Customer service is going down hill. no options for meats- everything today dried out of what was left especially the shanghai beef. Pull cameras and see for yourself, after 3pm on 1/18/18. Read moreHow do you enter a place of business and not be greeted then i had to sit and wait til the employee was done doing her temperature in her book then she has an attitude wen I asked her if she was done with what she was doing, then she gets another employee to come and replace her so she can continue doing what she was doing. First things first everytime I purchase my meal there's always an issue this time I purchased 23.00 worth of food. My first order was supposed to be a kids meal due to the fact that there was no new food coming out i asked if my daughter could have the leftover broccoli that was left from the beef and broccoli because there was no meat left she places the broccoli in the kids meal and said whats the next meal but she never give my daughter any meat so wen I asked where was the meat she said the broccoli was considered an entree but I asked and b4 she answered she had already placed it on my daughters plate moving on to the rest of the meal it was just a complete mess the employees had attitudes like they didn't want to be there then she calculating my meal and charged me for everything including the side of meat she placed in a separate container instead of on my daughter's plate. Once I made my purchase I asked for a handful of plum sauce for my 3 orders n she placed 5 sauces so I asked for some extra she gave me 3 then I had to beg a totally different employee for sauce n received 2 more im like I just spent money in this establishment and couldn't even get the common courtesy from your employees which is beyond sad because I am pregnant and I was willing to pay for extra food but because of the attitudes of your employees I may not ever return until something is done because this is the 3 time this has happened over a years span and plus they intentionally did not give me my receipt after I purchased my meal...
