Brix & Mortar Urban Winery - Avalon Park — Restaurant in Alafaya

I hosted a Bridal Shower at the Avalon location of Brix & Mortar - having already been to the Sanford location previously (though I had not personally been to the Avalon one prior to my event!). I worked with Nora who from the moment I reached out to inquire about having my event was a literal GEM. Nora answered my one million questions, gave me the best advice about which location would work better for my group & my plan, helped me pick/figure out how best to pre-order some appetizers & mimosa flights etc., and overall was just a freaking gift to have along side me during this process. The food we ordered was delicious (bruschetta, fish dip, charcuterie boards), and the flights were the perfect touch to see upon walking in. Everyone was able to order extras if they wanted, and it all went towards the INCREDIBLY reasonable minimum spend. Most places charge a fee JUST to rent the space, not to mention whatever it costs to order your food/drinks etc., but the fee for this space became your minimum spend, which was just so freaking helpful. I will continue to use Brix & Mortar for any and all events - the service from start to finish was just honestly incredible. Went here for the first time today. My sister and I both had a wine flight. Served in a vertical wine glass stand . Easy to understand which wine you chose. They have alot of options and you pick 5 from the list. Our bar tender was Lily. She was very knowledgeable about the wine they offered. I liked 4 of the 5 I chose. We also ordered the charcuterie plate. It was more than enough for 2 people. Various cheeses, meats, olives crackers, honey, preserves. They also offer 3 other food choices. The best surprise was the rewards program. Lily signed us up. If you spend $100 you earn a free glass of wine. That's approximately a 10% return on your spending. We will definitely be back. Found this place visiting in Florida and loving wines my party was excited to learn of a potential maker in Florida. No the grapes aren’t from Florida but let’s be real here ok? Inside is nice a clean and seating comfortable. The bruschetta was delicious and our hostess was very kind and answered all my curiosity questions being wine is a huge market where I live.
