Went to hang ten to celebrate my daughter graduating highschool, party of three. We were seated, orders taken, food served and then the lady that was setting up a professional photography shoot started using her flash, and I mean FLASH FLASH FLASH FLASH, rapid and bright. We ask her if she would be doing this the entire time, yes was her answer, we asked if she could please put an umbrella in front of her table in order to try and block out the horrible flashing, it did not. I switched seats in order to try and enjoy my meal as I am very photo sensitive and wear sunglasses everywhere I go. The owner or maybe it was the manager came by the table and started to discuss with me the situation and it was up to me to make the decision in asking their hired photographer to stop. I had food on my face and all over my hands as I was enjoying my food and found this quite awkward. We purchased soda pop and purchased the refills. Our bill for three people was $280 before tip, the food was good but the atmosphere sucked. The drinks could have at least been comped as an apology for the insane amount of flashing. All other guests were warned coming into the restaurant, we were not given...

I was really in the mood for Kalbi short ribs, so I ordered that with a mac salad and buttered corn for only $20. That’s a great price because this kind of meat is usually more expensive at other places. The food came with a lot of meat, which was awesome. But, to be honest, it tasted just OK. The sauce was alright, but the meat was a bit tough and not as flavorful as I hoped. I’d give it a 3 out of 5 because it’s a good deal but not the tastiest.
I’ve also tried their seafood like Dungeness crab and shrimp before, and that stuff is really yummy. So, next time, I’ll probably stick to the seafood dishes. The people working there were really nice and made sure everything was clean. They put paper on the table and had a roll of paper towels ready, which was helpful. The menu has lots of seafood and Hawaiian dishes that sound amazing.
The place feels laid-back and fun, with a sports theme and TVs everywhere. So, if you’re looking for a chill spot with great seafood, this is a...

I have been to Hang Ten Boiler numerous times in the past. The owner is the guy who created the original "We Believe" tee shirts over 16 years ago for the Golden State Warriors.
I did not order the garlic noodles this time around as a side dish. I decided to have the Chicken Katsu plate, which included two sides - Island macaroni salad and steamed broccoli. The portion was pretty generous to the point I couldn't even finish half of my lunch. The cost was reasonable st $16, excluding tax and tip. Their food is also delicious. I recommend the garlic noodles, sweet potato fries and, of course, the chicken katsu. My sister had the Kalua pork with cabbage and a housemade salad. She said her pork was a tad salty. The steamed broccoli was lacking in seasoning. I should have asked for some soy sauce.
Service was good and the wait time wasn't long. There were so many choices on their menu. It was hard to decide what to order.
