Smoothy's Juice Bar — Restaurant in Alamosa

The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly and it was our first time going to this juice bar but was excited to try it out. We ordered 3 drinks and the drinks in our opinion are over priced and horrible! We got the coffee almond, pumpkin graham and the Somoa cookie. The coffee almond all you can taste is the spinach and black coffee it’s bitter and VERY grainy, the pumpkin graham taste like a can of pumpkin purée nothing else it’s very thick and also a really weird texture and the somoa cookie you get chunks of cocoa powder that wasn’t blended all the way and you end up chewing very grainy and not sweet. All in all very disappointing in the price we spent for 3 drinks and then the quality/taste of them we literally took a couple of sips and threw them away it was a waste of money in bigger cities there are definitely better juice bars to experience but the only one for Alamosa unfortunately. Neat, clean, bright and colorful diner vibe with an overwhelming variety of smoothie choices! We tried the Apple Pie and Flamingo smoothies during our first ever visit, and both were delightful and worth their prices!

They made several extra ounces of my wife's smoothie and brought it out in a small cup at no extra charge. 5/5 on the smoothies, service and atmosphere!

On the food side of things, the Green Chile Chicken Quesadilla and Southwest Chicken Wrap were messy in the way only the most delicious foods are. I liked mine better than the wrap, but I found the portion of the whole quesadilla to be big and the price to be even bigger. I wish I'd gone with the half and tried the chili tots or something. 4/5 on the food we tried, but the versatility of the food menu (the tortilla variety alone makes me wish I'd built my own) makes me think I'd find that fifth star in another dish on my next visit!

This place used to be really prompt with their service. Calling ahead orders made it a breeze. NOW, if you call in an order it doesn't make a difference, by the time you get there, they re-ask you what your ordered. So essentially they are taking your order twice. Not to mention you wait in the drive thru line for 20 minutes before you even realize that they don't have your order and that they are going to be asking you for it again once you reach the window. This is the second time this has happened. After the first I thought it was just an off day, after the second we will not be returning. I don't know if it was a change in staff or what but this place went from being my daily stop to not coming back. Don't answer the phone and take orders if you cant fulfill them in a timely manner.
