Lexie's Cafe and Coffee — Restaurant in Alaska

Soooo Delicious!! I was out in Eagle River around 10am and wanted food breakfast/brunch/lunch. I wasn’t being too picky as I was just hungry. I asked a few people where to go and surprisingly no one could tell me. I decided on Lexie’s after looking at a few menus on Google , and let me tell you I am glad I did! I ordered a London Fog and the Chicken Artichoke sandwich because it was different than the usual. This sandwich certainly hit the spot. The bread was perfectly toasted, chicken was juicy and not over cooked, and I could really taste the artichoke which I didn't think I would. Also, it wasn’t so thick that I couldn’t bite into it. No skimping on quality here. It was a huge sandwich and I had to take half to go, but am looking forward to my husbands feedback on this sandwich. Whenever I head out to Eagle River I’ll definitely keep Lexie’s in mind and will recommend it to anyone...

A Line was out the door when I arrived at lunch time. The wait wasn't too long, however! Folks chatted cheerfully as we waited for our turn to order at the counter with the friendly cashier. I ordered to-go because all the tables in this small, obviously popular lunch spot we're taken. It's awkward finding a place to wait where you aren't in someone's way. I went out into the arctic entry where there are a couple of chairs. I got the BLTA on rosemary bread and it was PERFECT. Highly recommend! Even though they were very busy, my sandwich was ready within 15 minutes. I look forward to returning to try something else. I saw someone with a salad that was HUGE. My sandwich was 10.50 and was a reasonable size. No sides offered, like chips or a pickle. Nice...

They carry a great local line of baked goods here, Red’s, with everything from muffins to donuts to chose from. Many gluten free options as well. They also have a really nice breakfast and lunch menu that will satisfy any craving. The coffee is really good. If you are waiting for carry out or if you aren’t terribly hungry but want to support a wonderful local business, you can also stop in to browse the gift items they carry. They have quite a few unique items, including several gourmet food lines. Many of which are local as well.
